Installing Software
Installing DV Media Pro 1.0 / Video Studio
Application Installation – Photo Express
1. Click “Photo Express” on the Setup screen.
◆ It is a photo editing tool that allows users to edit images.
Application Installation – QuickTime
1. Click “QuickTime” on the Setup screen.
◆ QuickTime is Apple's technology for handling video, sound,
animation, graphics, text, music, and even 360-degree virtual
reality (VR) scenes.
Installing Video Studio
1. Insert the CD.
◆ Setup screen displays automatically. Follow the instruction to
start installation.
◆ It is a video editing tool that allows users to edit movie files.

✤ For photo editing, use Photo Express.
✤ For video editing, use the Video Studio from the second CD provided.
Install in the order of: DV Driver – DirectX 9.0 – Video Codec.
✤ For PC Cam use, It is required to install the DV Driver.
✤ It is required to install software for movie playback on a PC in this
order: Video CODEC DV driver, and DirectX 9.0 .
✤ Compatibility warning pop-up dialogs may appear depending on PC
manufacturers. Click on “Continue” to proceed following instructions.
✤ You have to install “DV Driver”, “Video Codec” and “DirectX 9.0” to
run DV Media Pro 1.0 properly.
✤ Regarding detailed instructions on software setup, refer to the
software user’s manual under the <help> folder of DV Media Pro
1.0 CD.
✤ Install Acrobat Reader from the DV Media Pro 1.0 CD to view
software user’s manual (install.pdf) in the <help> folder. (The
Acrobat Reader is a freeware product of Adobe Systems. Inc.)

1. Klicken Sie auf dem Setup-Bildschirm auf “QuickTime”.

Video Studio installieren
1. Legen Sie die CD ein.
◆ Der Setup-Bildschirm wird automatisch angezeigt. Befolgen Sie
die Anweisungen, um die Installation zu starten.
◆ Es handelt sich um ein Tool zum Bearbeiten von Filmdateien.

✤ Zum Bearbeiten von Fotos benutzen Sie Photo Express.
✤ Zum Bearbeiten von Videos benutzen Sie Video Studio (befindet
sich auf der zweiten CD). Installationsreihenfolge: DV Driver (DV-
Treiber) – DirectX 9.0 – Video Codec.
✤ Zur Nutzung des Geräts als PC-Kamera müssen Sie den DV-
Treiber installieren.
✤ Die Software zur Filmwiedergabe muss unbedingt in dieser
Reihenfolge installiert werden: Video Codec, DV Driver (DV-Treiber)
und DirectX 9.0.
✤ Je nach PC-Hersteller werden möglicherweise Pop-Up-
Dialogfenster mit Kompatibilitätswarnungen eingeblendet. Klicken
Sie auf “Continue” (Weiter), und befolgen Sie die weiteren
Anweisungen.
✤ Video Codec, DV Driver (DV-Treiber) und DirectX 9.0 müssen
installiert sein, damit DV Media Pro 1.0 ordnungsgemäß
ausgeführt wird.
✤ Weitere Informationen zur Einrichtung der Software erhalten Sie im
Software-Benutzerhandbuch im Ordner <help> (Hilfe) der DV
Media Pro 1.0 CD-ROM.
✤ Um die Datei install.pdf im Ordner <help> (Hilfe) anzeigen zu
können, muss zunächst das Programm Acrobat Reader von der
DV Media Pro 1.0 CD-ROM installiert werden. (Acrobat Reader ist
ein Freeware-Produkt von Adobe Systems. Inc.)
