PLAYING 1 OR 2 CDS ..........................................................
PLAYBACK
Basic Playback Operation
This unit has two trays; one on the left for playback only,
and the other on the right for both recording and playback.
Each tray has its own operation buttons. When operating
this unit with the remote control, select A or B to use the
operation buttons on the remote.
CDs, finalized CD-R discs, and finalized CD-RW discs can
be played on disc tray A. CDs, CD-R discs, and CD-RW
discs can be played on disc tray B.
■ To load a CD
1.
Press POWER on the front panel to turn on the
power.
2. Press v (OPEN/CLOSE on the remote) to open
the disc tray.
3.
Load a CD to be played on the disc tray and close
the disc tray.
■ To play
4. Press w/d (w on the remote) to start playback
from the beginning of the first track.
5.
Press w/d (d on the remote) to pause playback
temporarily.
Press w/d (w or d on the remote) to resume playback.
6.
Press a to stop playback.
■ When finishing playback
7.
Press v (OPEN/CLOSE on the remote) to
remove the CD and close the disc tray.
8. Press POWER to turn off the power.

Relay Playback of 2 CDs
This unit can play two CDs placed on trays A and B
consecutively. When one CD ends, the other CD
automatically starts from its first track.
1.
Load a CD to be played on each tray.
2. Press and rotate the MULTI JOG knob (MENU
and +/– on the remote) to select “Play Mode” in
the set menu.
3.
Press the MULTI JOG knob (MENU on the
remote) again. Then the following displays appear
blinking alternately as the knob is rotated.
4.
Select “RELAY” and press the MULTI JOG knob
(MENU on the remote) again to enter the
playback setting.
5. Press w/d (w on the remote) for the disc tray on
which the CD to be played first is placed.
6.
When playback of the second disc ends, this unit
enters the stop mode.
