Important Notes
The airline devices MCI 111 A / ML 2 A are equipped with our OCR
module "P2". The integrated so-called wedge device supports reading
OCR data, magnetic cards, AUX and BCR data through one single
(virtual) COM port.
The optical character recognition device supports reading passports
and similar machine readable documents with up to three lines of
data. The MSR reads up to three tracks according to ISO 7810/7811
and ATB documents.
If connected via USB, the module uses virtual COM port technology.
This requires installation of additional drivers, depending on your
operating system – see product documentation for details.

The wedge device settings (OCR, MSR, etc.) can be modified using
our CheckinConfigurator. Default host parameters:
S 9600-7-E-1 A 9600-8-N-1
The keyboard itself has all features and benefits of our MCI family
products. They are configured using our WinProgrammer software.

Wichtige Hinweise
Die Airline-Produkte MCI 111 A / ML 2 A sind mit dem OCR-Modul
"P2" ausgestattet. Als sogenanntes Wedge-Gerät werden hier die
Daten von OCR, MSR, AUX und BCR über einen einzigen (virtuellen)
COM-Port ausgegeben.
Der OCR-Teil unterstützt das Lesen von Pässen und ähnlichen
maschinenlesbaren Dokumenten mit bis zu drei Zeilen. Der MSR liest
Karten gemäß ISO 7810/7811 mit bis zu drei Spuren, wie auch ATB-
Dokumente.
Sofern über USB angeschlossen ist, wird das Wedge-Gerät über sog.
Virtual COM-Port betrieben. Hierzu ist es notwendig, zusätzliche
Treibersoftware zu installieren – Details siehe Produktdokumentation.

Die Einstellungen des Wedge-Geräts (OCR, MSR, etc.) kann man mit

Die Tastatur selbst bietet alle Möglichkeiten unserer USB-Tastaturen
der MCI-Familie. Sie wird mit dem WinProgrammer konfiguriert. Bitte
beachten Sie hierzu die entsprechenden Anleitungen.
