まちがった使いかたをすると、火災などにより人身事故になることがあり危険で

 故障したら使わない
動作がおかしくなったり、グリップやコードなどが破損しているのに気づいた
ら、すぐにソニーの相談窓口にご相談ください。

水や異物が入ると火災や感電の原因となります。万一、水や異物が入っ
たときは、すぐにスイッチを切り、ボタン電池を取り出して、ソニーの
相談窓口にご相談ください。

内部を開けない
感電の原因となることがあります。
内部の点検や修理はソニーの相談窓口にご相談ください。
湿気やほこり、油煙、湯気の多い場所や直射日光のあたる場所には
置かない

落としたりぶつけたりしない
故障の原因となります。
ボタン電池についての安全上のご注意
下記の注意事項を守らないと、
火災 ・ 感電 により 死亡 や 大けが
の原因となります。
指定された種類のボタン電池を使用してください。
ボタン電池は、乳幼児の手の届かないところで保管・使用してください。
飲み込むと中毒を起こしたり、窒息するおそれがあります。
もし、ボタン電池を飲み込んだときは、すぐに医師の治療を受けてください。
機器の表示に合わせて、とを正しく入れてください。
電極（と）を金属製品（ネックレスやヘアピンなど）でショート（短絡）させな
いでください。
また、金属製品といっしょに携帯、保管しないでください。
火のそばや直射日光のあたるところ、炎天下の車の中など高温の場所で使用、保
管、放置しないでください。
釘をさしたり、カナヅチでたたいたり、踏みつけたりしないでください。
使用後、充電しないでください。
水などにぬらしたり、風呂場などの湿気の多いところで使わないでください。

ボタン電池を使い切ったとき、長期間使用しないときは取り出しておいてくださ
い。
使い切ったボタン電池を入れたままにしないでください。
主な特長
本機は、マイク端子とオートロックアクセサリーシュー付きのカメラで使用でき
ます。
ステレオ（ Middle-Side ）方式の採用により、臨場感あふれる録音ができます。
収音対象により指向角（音の広がり感）を 90 度と 120 度の 2 段階に切り換えること
ができます。
取り扱い上のご注意
マイクロホンは精密機器です。落としたり、たたいたり、強い衝撃を与えないで
ください。
高温多湿の場所での使用、保存は避けてください。
屋外使用するときは、雨や海水にぬれないようにしてください。
動画撮影中はカメラやレンズの作動音、操作音などが記録されてしまうことがあ
ります。レンズの作動音が気になる場合は、マニュアルフォーカスでご使用くだ
さい。
使用中にマイクロホンに触れると、ノイズとして録音されてしまいます。髪の毛
や帽子などが触れないようにご注意ください。
録音中に指向角を切り換えると、ノイズが入ることがあります。
マイクを持ってカメラを持ち運ばないでください。マイクが破損したり、カメラ
が落下する恐れがあります。
本機を持ち歩く際は、カメラから取りはずして付属のポーチに入れてください。
バッテリーチェックランプは一瞬だけ点灯してすぐ消えます。電源／指向主軸
角切り換えスイッチの切り忘れにご注意ください。
本製品はカメラからの振動をノイズとして録音させないため、特殊振動吸収構造
の非常に柔らかなジョイントを採用しており、本体が動きます。
ご使用の前に
出荷時にはすでにボタン電池が装着されています。電池の消耗を防ぐために絶縁
シート（ a ）が入れてありますので、抜いてからご使用ください。
ボタン電池の取り換えかた
1 バッテリーカバーを反時計方向に「カチッ」と音がするまで回し
てはずす。
2 切り込み口（ b ）に細い棒状のものを差し込んで、電池を取り出
す。
金属の棒は使用しないでください。ショートするおそれがあります。
3 面を外側にして新しいボタン電池を入れる。
4 バッテリーカバーを時計方向に「カチッ」と音がするまで回す。
電池の交換時期
ボタン電池が使える状態のときは、電源を入れるとバッテリーチェックランプが
一瞬光ります。光りかたが暗かったり、光らなかったりした場合にはボタン電池を
交換してください。
付属のソニーアルカリボタン電池 LR44 では約 100 時間連続して使用できます。ま
たソニー酸化銀電池 SR44 では約 200 時間連続して使用できます。 （使用条件により
異なります。）
各部の名前
 ウインドスクリーン
マイクにかぶせて使用することにより、風や息が直接あたるときに発生する
“ボコボコ”という雑音を減らします。
ご注意
水洗いはできません。
濡れた場合は自然乾燥させてください。







使いかた
1 カメラの電源を切る。
2 本機の電源／指向主軸角切り換えスイッチを OFF にして、本機
のオートロックフットをカメラのオートロックアクセサリー
シューにカチッと音がするまでしっかり差し込んで取り付け
る。
本機をご使用になる前に、必ずカメラの内蔵フラッシュを閉じてください。ま
た、内蔵フラッシュの自動発光機能があるカメラでは、自動発光機能を OFF に
しておいてください。
3 本機の L 型ステレオミニプラグをカメラのマイク端子につなぐ。
4 本機の電源／指向主軸角切り換えスイッチを ON の方向にスラ
イドさせ、電源を入れる。
収音する対象によって、電源／指向主軸角切り換えスイッチを切り換えてくだ
さい。
取りはずしかた
本機の電源／指向主軸角切り換えスイッチを
OFF にした後、本機の
マイク取りはずしボタン（ a ）を押しながら、本機を矢印方向にスラ
イドさせて取りはずす。

Merkmale
Dieses Mikrofon ist zur Verwendung mit einer Kamera ausgelegt, die eine
Mikrofonbuchse und einen selbstarretierenden Zubehörschuh hat.
Das Stereosystem (Mitte-Seite) erlaubt natürlich klingende Tonaufnahme
und liefert ein Stereoklangbild mit hervorragender Schärfe.
Die Aufnahmecharakteristik (die die Klangbildbreite beeinflusst) kann
entsprechend der Tonquelle auf 90° oder 120° eingestellt werden.
Vorsichtsmaßregeln
Das Mikrofon ist ein Präzisionsgerät. Lassen Sie es nicht fallen
oder an Gegenstände anstoßen und schützen Sie es vor extremen
Erschütterungen.
Halten Sie das Mikrofon von hohen Temperaturen und Luftfeuchtigkeit
fern.
Bei Verwendung im Freien achten Sie darauf, dass das Mikrofon nicht
durch Regen oder Meerwasser nass wird.
Bei Filmaufnahme können Betriebsgeräusche der Kamera oder des
Objektivs ebenfalls aufgenommen werden. Sie können Geräusche vom
Objektiv verhindern, indem Sie im manuellen Modus fokussieren.
Wenn Sie das Mikrofon während der Aufnahme berühren, wird ein
Berührungsgeräusch aufgenommen. Achten Sie darauf, nicht das
Objektiv zu berühren, insbesondere mit Haaren, Kopfbekleidung usw.
Wenn Sie die Aufnahmecharakteristik-Schaltereinstellung des Mikrofons
während der Aufnahme ändern, kann ein Geräusch aufgenommen
werden.
Halten Sie die Kamera nur nicht allein an dem Mikrofon. Das Mikrofon
könnte beschädigt werden, oder die Kamera kann herunterfallen.
Nehmen Sie das Mikrofon zum Tragen von der Kamera ab und setzen es
in das mitgelieferte Etui.
Das Batterieprüflämpchen leuchtet kurz auf und erlischt dann. Schalten
Sie immer den Strom-/Aufnahmecharakteristik-Schalter des Mikrofons
nach der Verwendung aus.
Das Mikrofon hat ein sehr weiches Anschlussteil mit einem speziellen
vibrationsabsorbierenden Aufbau, um zu verhindern, dass Vibration von
der Kamera als Geräusch aufgenommen wird. Aus diesem Grund kann
sich der Hauptkörper des Mikrofons bewegen.
Vor dem Gebrauch des Mikrofons 
Eine Knopfbatterie ist bereits ab Werk eingesetzt. Vor der Verwendung
des Mikrofons nehmen Sie die Isolierung (a) ab, die werkseitig eingesetzt
wurde, um Entleerung der Batterie beim Transport zu vermeiden.
Austauschen der Knopfbatterie 

Drehen Sie den Batteriedeckel gegen den Uhrzeigersinn,
bis er mit einem Klickgeräusch ausrastet, und nehmen
Sie ihn dann ab.
2 Führen Sie einen dünnen Gegenstand durch die Öffnung
(b) und hebeln Sie die Knopfbatterie heraus.
Verwenden Sie keinen Metallgegenstand, da er einen Kurzschluss
verursachen könnte.
3 Setzen Sie eine neue Knopfbatterie mit der  Seite nach
außen weisend ein.
4 Bringen Sie den Batteriedeckel wieder an und drehen
ihn im Uhrzeigersinn, bis er mit einem Klickgeräusch
einrastet.
Austauschintervall für eine Knopfbatterie
Wenn die Knopfbatterie ausreichende Stärke hat, blinkt das
Batterieprüflämpchen kurz auf, wenn das Mikrofon eingeschaltet wird.
Falls das Batterieprüflämpchen schwach oder überhaupt nicht blinkt,
ersetzen Sie die Knopfbatterie durch eine neue.
Das Mikrofon kann etwa 100 Stunden ununterbrochen mit der
mitgelieferten Sony Alkali-Knopfbatterie LR44 und 200 Stunden mit einer
Sony Silveroxid-Knopfbatterie SR44 betrieben werden. (Die Betriebszeit
ist je nach Betriebsbedingungen unterschiedlich.)
Hinweise zur Knopfbatterie
Falsche Behandlung der Knopfbatterie kann bewirken, dass diese leck
wird oder birst. Beachten Sie immer Folgendes.
Setzen Sie die Knopfbatterie so ein, dass die Markierungen  und 
an der Batterie richtig den Markierungen  und  im Inneren des
Batteriefachs entsprechend ein.
Versuchen Sie nicht, die Knopfbatterie aufzuladen. Sie ist nicht
aufladbar.
Entnehmen Sie die Knopfbatterie, wenn das Mikrofon längere Zeit nicht
verwendet werden soll.
Wenn die Knopfbatterie leck wird, wischen Sie jeglichen austretenden
Elektrolyt aus dem Batteriefach ab und setzen dann eine neue
Knopfbatterie ein.
Halten Sie die Knopfbatterien außer Reichweiter kleiner Kinder, um
versehentliches Verschlucken zu vermeiden. Falls eine Batterie verschluckt
wurde, suchen Sie sofort einen Arzt auf.
Identifikation der Teile 
 Windschutz
Dieses Teil kann am Mikrofon angebracht werden, um
Knistergeräusche durch Wind oder Atem zu verringern.
Hinweise
Waschen Sie den Windschutz nicht in Wasser.
Wenn der Windschutz nass wird, lassen Sie ihn natürlich trocknen.
 Batterieprüflämpchen
Wenn der Strom-/Aufnahmecharakteristik-Schalter von OFF auf ON
umgeschaltet wird, blinkt das Batterieprüflämpchen kurz auf, um die
restliche Batteriestärke anzuzeigen. Wenn das Batterieprüflämpchen
schwach oder überhaupt nicht blinkt, ersetzen Sie die Knopfbatterie
durch eine neue.
 Strom-/Aufnahmecharakteristik-Schalter (Siehe Abbildung )
Entsprechend der Tonquelle einstellen.
ON
Das Gerät schaltet sich ein.
OFF Das Gerät schaltet sich aus.
90° Bei Aufnahme von Ton mit einem schmalen Klangbild oder
einem entfernten Ton (Gespräche, Soloinstrumente usw.)
120° Bei Aufnahme von Ton mit einem breiten Klangbild oder
einem nahen Ton (Konzerte, Theateraufführungen usw.)
Richten Sie sich generell nach der obigen Tabelle.
Wählen Sie die Aufnahmecharakteristik nach Wunsch.

Features
This microphone can be used attached to a camera with a microphone
jack and an Auto-lock Accessory Shoe.
The stereo (Middle-Side) system enables natural sound pick-up,
delivering a stereo sound image with superb clarity.
The pickup pattern (affecting the soundstage width) can be set to 90° or
120° according to the sound source.
Precautions
The microphone is a precision instrument. Do not drop, hit or apply
excessive shock to it.
Keep the microphone away from high temperatures and humidity.
When using the microphone outside, be careful not to get it wet with
rain or seawater.
During movie recording, operation noises or beeps from the camera or
lens may be recorded. You can prevent noise from the lens by using in
manual focus mode.
If you touch the microphone during recording, noise will be recorded.
Be careful not to touch the microphone, especially with your hair, head
attire, etc.
If you change the pickup pattern switch setting of the microphone
during recording, noise may occur.
Do not hold the camera only by the microphone. The microphone may
be damaged or camera may fall.
When carrying the microphone, remove the microphone from the
camera and put it in the supplied carrying pouch.
The battery check lamp lights up momentarily and soon goes out. Be
sure to turn off the power/pickup pattern switch of the microphone after
use.
The microphone has a very soft joint with a special vibration absorbing
structure to prevent vibration from the camera being recorded as noise.
For this reason, the main body of the microphone may move.
Before using the microphone 
A button battery is already installed at the factory. Before using the
microphone, remove the insulation (a) inserted to prevent the button
battery from running out during shipment.
Replacing the button battery 
1
Rotate the battery cover counterclockwise until it clicks
and then detach it.
2 Insert a thin object through the opening (b) and prize
the button battery out.
Do not use a metal object as it may cause a short circuit.
3 Insert a new button battery with its  side facing
outwards.
4 Reattach the battery cover and rotate it clockwise until it
clicks.
Replacement period of a button battery
If the button battery has enough power, the battery check lamp flashes
momentarily when the microphone is turned on. If the battery check lamp
flashes dimly or does not flash at all, replace the button battery with a new
one.
The microphone is continuously operational for about 100 hours with the
supplied Sony alkaline button battery LR44, and about 200 hours with a
Sony silver oxide button battery SR44. (Operating time varies depending
on the operating conditions.)
Notes on button battery
Mishandling of the button battery may cause it to leak or rupture. Always
observe the following.
Install the button battery with the  and  correctly matching the 
and  inside the battery compartment.
Do not attempt to recharge the button battery. It is not rechargeable.
Remove the button battery if the microphone is not to be used for a long
period of time.
If the button battery leaks, carefully wipe away any electrolyte from the
battery compartment and then install a new button battery.
Keep button batteries out of the reach of children to prevent accidental
swallowing. If swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.
Identifying the Parts 
 Wind screen
Place on the microphone to reduce popping noise caused by wind or
breath.
Notes
Do not wash the wind screen in water.
If the wind screen gets wet, let it dry naturally.
 Battery check lamp
When the power/pickup pattern switch is switched from OFF to ON,
the battery check lamp flashes momentarily to indicate the remaining
battery level. When the battery check lamp flashes dimly or does not
flash at all, replace the button battery with a new one.

Set according to the sound source.
ON
The power turns on.
OFF The power turns off.
90° When picking up a sound with a narrow soundstage, or a
distant sound (conversation, solo instruments, etc.)
120° When picking up a sound with a wide soundstage, or a nearby
sound (concert, theatrical performance, etc.)
Refer to the above table as a rough standard.
Choose the pickup pattern depending on your preference.

Fit the cord into the cord clamp.
Using the Microphone 
1
Turn off the power of the camera.
2 Set the power/pickup pattern switch of the microphone
to OFF. Insert the Auto-lock Foot of the microphone into
the Auto-lock Accessory Shoe of the camera until it clicks
into place.
Before using the microphone, be sure to close the built-in flash of the
camera. When using a camera with a built-in flash that has Auto flash
function, set the Auto flash to OFF.
3 Connect the L type stereo mini plug to the microphone
jack of the camera.
4 Set the power/pickup pattern switch of the microphone
to ON to turn on the power of the microphone.
Set the power/pickup pattern switch of the microphone according to
the sound source.
To detach the microphone 
Set the power/pickup pattern switch of the microphone to
OFF. Then hold down the microphone release button (a)
and slide the microphone in the direction of the arrow to
detach it.

Caractéristiques
Ce microphone peut être raccordé à un appareil photo pourvu d’une prise
microphone et d’une griffe porte-accessoire à verrouillage automatique.
Le système stéréo (Middle-Side) permet une prise de son naturelle et
offre un son stéréo d’une clarté exceptionnelle.
L’angle de prise de son (qui détermine la largeur de la plage sonore) peut
être réglé sur 90° ou 120° selon la source sonore.
Précautions
Le microphone est un instrument de précision. Ne le laissez pas tomber,
ne le cognez pas et ne l’exposez pas à des chocs.
Rangez le microphone à l’abri des températures et d’une humidité
élevées.
Si vous utilisez le microphone en plein air, protégez-le de la pluie ou de
l’eau de mer.
Pendant la prise de vue, les bruits de fonctionnement ou les bips de
l’appareil photo ou de l’objectif peuvent être enregistrés. Le bruit de
l’objectif peut être évité en utilisant le mode de mise au point manuelle.
Si vous touchez le microphone pendant la prise de vue, le bruit
produit sera enregistré. Veillez à ne pas toucher le microphone et faites
particulièrement attention aux cheveux, parures de tête, etc.
Si vous changez l’angle de prise de son du microphone pendant la prise
de vue un bruit peut être audible.
Ne tenez pas l’appareil photo par le microphone. Le microphone pourrait
être endommagé ou l’appareil photo tomber.
Pour transporter le microphone, détachez-le de l’appareil photo et
mettez-le dans la pochette de transport fournie.
Le témoin de contrôle de la pile s’éclaire momentanément et s’éteint
rapidement. Veillez à mettre le commutateur d’alimentation/angle de
prise de son du microphone sur arrêt après utilisation.
Le microphone a un joint très souple avec une structure spéciale
absorbant les vibrations pour que le bruit produit par les vibrations de
l’appareil photo ne risque pas d’être enregistré. C’est pourquoi le corps du
microphone peut bouger.
Avant d’utiliser le microphone 
Une pile bouton a été mise dans le microphone en usine. Avant d’utiliser
le microphone, retirez l’isolation (a) insérée pour empêcher la pile bouton
de s’user au cours du transport.
Replacement de la pile bouton 

Tournez le couvercle de pile dans le sens antihoraire
jusqu’au déclic et détachez-le.
2 Insérez un objet fin dans l’ouverture (b) et pressez pour
faire sortir la pile.
N’utilisez pas d’objet métallique qui risquerait de causer un court-
circuit.
3 Insérez une nouvelle pile bouton avec le côté  orienté
vers l’extérieur.
4 Remettez le couvercle de pile et tournez-le dans le sens
horaire jusqu’au déclic.
Quand remplacer une pile bouton
Si la pile bouton est suffisamment chargée, le témoin de contrôle de la
pile clignote momentanément lorsque le microphone est allumé. Quand
le témoin de contrôle de la pile clignote faiblement ou ne clignote pas du
tout, remplacez la pile bouton par une neuve.
Le microphone peut fonctionner sans discontinuité durant 100 heures
environ avec la pile bouton alcaline Sony LR44 et 200 heures environ
avec la pile bouton à oxyde d’argent Sony SR44. (L’autonomie dépend des
conditions de fonctionnement.)
Remarques sur la pile bouton
La pile bouton risque de fuir ou d’éclater si elle n’est pas manipulée
correctement. Prenez toujours les précautions suivantes.












Auto-lock Accessory Shoe
Installez la pile bouton avec les faces  et  orientées selon les
indications  et  à l’intérieur du logement de pile.
N’essayez pas de recharger la pile bouton. Elle n’est pas rechargeable.
Retirez la pile bouton si le microphone ne doit pas être utilisé pendant
un certain temps.
Si la pile bouton devait fuir, essuyez soigneusement toute l’électrolyte dans
le logement de pile et installez une nouvelle pile bouton.
Rangez les piles bouton hors de portée des enfants qui risqueraient de les
avaler accidentellement. En cas d’ingestion, consultez immédiatement un
médecin.
Identification des éléments
 Bonnette antivent
Posez-la sur le microphone pour réduire le bruit de souffle causé par le
vent ou la respiration.
Remarques
Ne lavez pas la bonnette antivent dans l’eau.
Si la bonnette antivent devait être mouillée, laissez-la sécher
naturellement.
 Témoin de contrôle de la pile
Lorsque le commutateur d’alimentation/angle de prise de son est
réglé de OFF sur ON, le témoin de contrôle de la pile clignote
momentanément pour indiquer le niveau de charge restant. Quand le
témoin de contrôle de la pile clignote faiblement ou ne clignote pas du
tout, remplacez la pile bouton par une neuve.

Insérez le cordon dans la bride.
Utilisation du microphone 

Éteignez l’appareil photo.
2 Réglez le commutateur d’alimentation/angle de
prise de son du microphone sur OFF. Insérez le pied à
verrouillage automatique du microphone dans la griffe
porte-accessoire à verrouillage automatique de
l’appareil photo jusqu’à ce qu’il s’encliquette.
Avant d’utiliser le microphone, veillez à fermer le flash intégré de
l’appareil photo. Si le flash intégré de l’appareil photo utilisé est un flash
automatique, réglez le flash automatique sur OFF.
3 Raccordez la minifiche stéréo en L à la prise de
microphone de l’appareil photo.
4 Réglez le commutateur d’alimentation/angle de prise de
son du microphone sur ON pour allumer le microphone.
Réglez le commutateur d’alimentation/angle de prise de son du
microphone selon la source sonore.
Pour détacher le microphone 
Réglez le commutateur d’alimentation/angle de prise
de son du microphone sur OFF. Appuyez ensuite sur le
bouton de libération du microphone (a) et faites glisser le
microphone dans le sens de la flèche pour le détacher.
