Setting Up
To improve the FM reception
Disconnect the supplied FM aerial and connect the FM
outdoor aerial (not supplied). If you use a distributor,
you can also use the TV aerial.
To improve the MW/LW reception
Connect a 6- and 15- meter insulated wire (not
supplied) to the MW/LW terminal. Keep the wire as
horizontal as possible near the window or outdoor.
You do not need to disconnect the supplied MW/LW
loop aerial.
Important
When you use an
outdoor aerial, be sure
to connect the
y
terminal to earth
against lightning. To
prevent a gas
explosion, do not
connect the ground
wire to a gas pipe.
