The guided drive 1 is intended to serve as a stop or stopper cylinder or a
single-axis feeding unit with loads on the yoke plate.



Caution

Danger of injury due to uncontrolled movements of the guided drive 1.
 Make sure that

mounting takes place in a pressureless status

nobody reaches into the path of the movable load

no foreign objects are located in the positioning range.

2. Mounting, general

Note

In order to avoid operative malfunctions and increased wear:
 Observe the characteristic curves and permissible limits from our cata-

logue (

www.festo.com/catalogue

).

 Avoid damage to the guide rods and piston rod of the guided drive 1.
 Make sure that the mounting surface (H) and the surface (I) of the attach-

ments are flat and every attachment is made without tension and deflec-
tion.

 Make sure there is sufficient space to attach the compressed air supply

ports later.

Note

Protruding guide rods.
The guide rods (K) protrude beyond the housing in the retracted status.

 Make sure there is free pas-

sage for the guide rods (K),
e.g. through cut-outs.

For mounting the guided drive 1:
 If possible, use screws 5 with a screw-in length of 1.5 x d.
 Always fasten the guided drive 1 with 2 screws 5. The fastening holes

used for this are freely selectable.
