LB120-II PANEL FUNCTIONS

[1] LIFT/GND SWITCH
: Connects or disconnects pin 1 from the XLR connector [2] to ground. Can be used to
eliminate hum caused by a ground-loop.

[2] DI OUTPUT : This XLR connector provides a 600 ohms fully balanced direct output for recording or PA. The
filtered output signal [4&5] is at microphone level, -14dB lower than the signal level at the 'Line' output [3].

[3] LINE OUTPUT
: This jack connector provides an unbalanced direct output for recording or PA. The filtered
output signal [4&5] is at line level (-10 to 0 dBV).

[4&5] VOICING SELECTORS
: These selectors change the slope of the filters inside the LB120-II, that simulate
the typical recording characteristic of a microphone placed in front of a guitar speaker.
[4] This switch provides selection between the placing of a microphone pointed straigth to the centre of the speaker
(axis) or pointed more to the edge (off-axis) wich results in less bright sound very suitable for recording of distortion
sounds.
[5] This selector selects simulation of the typical characteristics of either a 1x12 or a 4x12 speaker cabinet. The
4x12 position offers higher low-end pressure and more low-mids.

[6] DIRECT OUTPUTS
: These jack connectors provide an unfiltered and unbalanced line output of the signal.
They can be used to input the signal from the speaker output of your guitar amplifier, via the LB120-II, into a
second guitar amplifier.
Two signal levels are available: -10dBV, for FX loop returns and other low level inputs; 0 dBV, for power amps and
other high level inputs.

[7] MULTIPLE CABINETS : These jacks make it possible to connect two speaker cabinets to the LB120-II.
You must first connect the "From Attenuator" jack to one of the Attenuator 1%-100% output jacks [10], with a short
jack-jack speaker cable. Now the two "To Two Speaker Cabinets" output jacks can be used to connect two
speaker cabinets to the LB120-II [10 'impedance'].
