Ensure that the distance from the spindle to the pivot point of the tonearm is exactly

222 mm. Moving the tonearm base in one direction or another will allow you to locate the

correct position. After you have reached the correct position, tighten the tonearm base

again.

Please use the delivered alignment gauge or for more accurate adjustment the professional

cartridge alignment gauge from Clearaudio (Art. NO: AC 005

www.analogshop.de

).

2.5 Further adjustments

2.5.1 Tracking force pre-set up

Please check or adjust the tracking force always without a record on the platter! and

according to the cartridge manufacturer`s specification. Please ensure that the height of the

measuring platform on your tracking force gauge is the same height as a record to get an

accurate measurement. The Clearaudio Smart Stylus Gauge or Clearaudio Weight Watcher

are recommended.

2.5.2 Adjustment of the tonearm height (Vertical-Tracking-Angle / VTA)

You can change the height of your tonearm by loosening the two locking screws on the side

of the tonearm mounting base (Pic. 7). After loosing the screws, you can move the arm up

or down to achieve the required height. Tighten both screws when finished. Please pay

attention to adjust the tonearm tube parallel to the turntable chassis!

Re-check tracking force after adjusting VTA.
