4.10 Error case identification

If the measuring value is out of the
measuring range, it is indicated as described:
The error case identification allows the
control of the internal function of the amplifier
and the function of the sensor. Following
Failure can be detected:

Interrupted connection between sensor
and amplifier

Measuring value out of measurable
range

Internal functional error of amplifier

No supply voltage on the amplifier

Bridge to completion resistor not existing

1. The Error-LED changes from ’green’ to

‘red’

2. The switching output ‘Error’ has been

activated (indicates ‘Low’)

3. Representation on the LCD

SIG OFVL

PEAK 8.04V

SIG UFVL

PEAK 8.04V

If the measuring value is in the measurable
range again, the LED lights green, the
switching output is deactivated and the LCD
shows the correct value.

Note
The error output switch is default set on
‘High’. In error case the switch switches to
‘Low’!

Comment
Should the amplifier remain in error status,
follow following procedure:
Check if the sensor is fully functional
Check if the sensor is connected correctly
Tare the amplifier by activating the Reset
function.

If the amplifier still remains in error status ,
please get in contact with our representative
in your area.
