Cabling the System Using the CMA
CAUTION:
To avoid potential damage from protruding cables, secure any slack in the status indicator cable
after routing the cable through the CMA.
Using the tie wraps provided, bundle the cables together as they enter and exit the baskets so they do not interfere
with adjacent systems (

). With the CMA in the service position, route the cable bundle through the inner and outer
baskets (
2
). Use the preinstalled hook-and-loop straps on either end of the baskets to secure the cables (
3
).
Adjust the cable slack as needed at the hinge position (
4
). Swing the CMA back into place on the tray (
5
). Install the
status indicator cable at the back of the system and secure the cable by routing it through the CMA. Attach the other
end of the cable to the corner of the outer CMA basket (
6
).
Cycle the system in the rack to verify that the cables have sufficient slack and are not binding.

). Remettez le CMA en place sur le bac (

). Installez le câble de voyant d’état à l’arrière du système
et sécurisez le câble en le faisant passer par le CMA. Fixez l’autre extrémité du câble au coin du panier de CMA
extérieur (

).
Mettez le système hors puis sous tension dans le rack pour vérifier que les câbles ont suffisamment de jeu et ne
sont pas trop serrés.

PRECAUCIÓN
: Para evitar posibles daños en los cables salientes, asegure cualquier cable suelto en el indicador de
estado tras enrutar el cable mediante el CMA.
Mediante la banda de sujeción para cables, ate los cables a medida que entran y salen de las cestas de forma
que no interfieran con los sistemas adyacentes (

Cabling the System Using the SRB
With the SRB installed on the rails, thread the hook-and-loop straps through the SRB (

). Run the hook-and-loop
straps through the SRB to secure the cable bundles (

) and (

).
NOTE
:
If the system is intended to be serviced in the rack, it is recommended that you create cable service loops
close to the SRB.
NOTE
:
The illustrated strapping method is only a recommendation.

Con la SRB instalada en los rieles, pase las tiras de velcro a través de la SRB (

Installing and Removing the SRB
Align and engage each side of the SRB
with the inner attachment brackets at the same time and push the SRB
forward until it clicks into place (

). To remove the SRB, press the release buttons on the top of the left and right
latch housings and pull back the SRB (
2
).
