Helmet H1500

www.bullardextrem.com

Thank you for choosing a fire service helmet from Bullard.
Protection helmets are an integral element of personal safety equipment and help
prevent, or at least reduce, head injuries.
Please spare some time to read the following information so you can properly adjust
your helmet. It has been written with both your safety and comfort in mind.

Head size, size adjustment and weight

The helmet can be adjusted infinitely to any head size from 52 –64 cm.
Total weight with no accessories is approx. 950g.
First adjust the size range on the headband.

H1500 model with sUrE LOCK® ratchet system

Open the wheel ratchet counterclockwise.
Put on your helmet and turn the wheel ratchet clockwise until it rests firmly yet
comfortably on your head.

Adjusting the headband height

You DO NOT have to remove the suspension in order to vertically adjust the height.
The 4-pt. suspension has two vertical positions: high and low. A custom fit can be
accomplished by simply pulling the key peg out and inserting it into the desired slot
height position on the headband.

Chin strap

Open and close the chin strap with the Quick-Release Buckle. Adjust the length of the
chin strap with the sliders to the left and to the right. Shorten the strap by pulling the
loose ends of the straps. Push up the sliders to lengthen the strap. Adjust the neck
strap with the snap buckle. The helmet meets standard requirements on retention
system effectiveness and strength as long as the chin strap is adjusted as mentioned
above and 2 fingers in between chin strap and chin.
