Power handling capacity
The bass chassis is tuned to the output
rating of the built-in amplifier.
Nonetheless, in extreme situations an
overload can result when there are
very long, permanent, abnormal
signals, i.e. no music signals and full
volume (generator and other test
signals). In general, you should ensure
that the volume is only turned up to a
level where your ear, which is usually
a reliable measure, starts to notice an
overload. First signs of overload are a
very heavy increase in distortions in
the sound picture. Your Revox
speakers will not be damaged by a
short-term overload (30 secs.). If the
speaker chasses should be damaged
by a longer-term overload, this can be
identified very readily by a trained
service technician. In this case, your
rights under the term of the Revox
warranty are cancelled.
Warranty
Warranty covers a period of 24 months
from the purchasing date.
First contact your dealer or any service
requirements. If he is unable to assist,
send your unit, without accessories, to
your national sales organisation. In all
cases, include a detailed description.
Unit care
The white painted surfaces of the
housing and the aluminium surface
should only be cleaned with a damp
cloth and then wiped dry again using a
soft cloth.
Under no circumstances should you
use abrasive cleaning agents.
