forces, as the vibration hazard typically incre-
ases when firming the grip.
Additional safety instructions
for pneumatic machinery
Compressed air can result in serious injuries.
- Always close the air supply, release pressure
from the hose, and disconnect the machine
from the compressed air supply, when the ma-
chine is not in use, before switching accessories
or when performing repairs.
- Never aim the air flow at yourself or others.
Hoses flapping about can result in serious inju-
ries. Therefore always inspect hoses and their
fasteners for damage and a secure fit.
If using universal swivel couplings (coupling discs)
always use locking pins and use whip-check
hose safety cables for protection in the event
the connection between the hose and the ma-
chine or in between hoses fails.
Ensure not to exceed the maximum pressure
specified on the machine.
Never carry pneumatic tools by the hose.

Connecting the equipment
Connect your equipment to the compressor us-
ing an air hose with an inner diameter of at
least 9 mm.
Ensure the hose is long enough to allow you to
work freely in your workplace.
Connect coupling
(see Fig. A)
Wrap coupling with teflon tape (not included).
Wrap the tape as tightly as possible around
the thread. This will minimise the likelihood of
air leaking and optimise the work process.
Now screw the coupling into the compressed
air equipment.
Using maintenance accessories
If available, you may use an in-line a line oiler,
-trap or an entire maintenance unit as shown
above. We highly recommend using such main-
tenance accessories.
Ensure pressure from the compressor does not
exceed 6.2 bar. The equipment is most effec-
tive with pressures between 5.5 and 6.2 bar.
Commissioning
Installing accessories
(see Fig. B-H)
ATTENTION! Always remove the hose leading
to the compressor first before changing acces-
sories.
Be sure the equipment is no longer functional!
Select the accessory suitable for the job. Instal-
lation is explained below using as an example
the straight scraper attachment

.
Only use suitable accessories. These may be
purchased from the manufacturer. Using non-
OEM accessories may result in hazards.
