Note:

Press the decrease button 3 or the increase button 4 to make

adjustments in the various modes.
Tip:

Hold the button in question down. This way, you can speed up the

adjustment of the values you wish to set. This rapid set-up process can be
used for all adjustment procedures. If you do not press any buttons within
60 seconds, the LC display will automatically return to the standard display.

Setting the 12/24-hour mode

Press the mode button 7 once to get to the selection range of the
12/24-hour mode.

Press the decrease button 3 or the increase button 4 to set the
12 or 24-hour mode.

Press the mode button 7 four times to return to normal mode.

Setting the time/date

Note:

Press the decrease button 3 or the increase button 4 to make

adjustments in the various modes.

Press the mode button 7 once to get to the 12 or 24-hour selection
range.

Press the set-up button 5 in order to be able to set the hours.

˽

Press the set-up button 5 in order to be able to set the minutes.

˽

Press the set-up button 5 in order to be able to set the year.

Press the set-up button 5 in order to be able to set the current month.

˽

Press the set-up button 5 in order to be able to set the current date.

˽

Press the mode button 7 four times to return to the normal mode.

Setting the alarm

Note:

Press the decrease button 3 or the increase button 4 to make

adjustments in the various modes.

Press the alarm button 6 to get to the alarm mode. Or you can press
the mode button 7 twice to get to the alarm mode.

˽

Press the set-up button 5 in order to be able to set the hours of the
time you wish to set the alarm for.

˽

Press the set-up button 5 in order to be able to set the minutes of the
time you wish to set the alarm for.

˽

Press the set-up button 5 to be able to select one of 9 different alarms.

˽

Press the mode button 7 three times to return to the normal mode.

˽

If the SNOOZE function is switched off when the set alarm time is
reached, the selected alarm sounds for only one minute. Press any but-
ton to turn off the alarm.

˽

If the SNOOZE function is switched on when the set alarm time is
reached, the selected alarm sounds. Press any button to turn off the
alarm. The alarm sounds again after three minutes. This process repeats
itself a total of four times. The alarm only switches itself off after the
fourth time.

˽

You can also cancel the SNOOZE function prematurely by stopping
the alarm with the mode button 7 and then pressing the increase
button 4 .

˽

If the alarm and SNOOZE functions are switched off, their symbols no
longer appear in the LC display.

˽

The SNOOZE function can only be switched on, if the alarm symbol is
showing in the LC display.

Switching the SNOOZE function on/off

With the alarm set (the alarm symbol is showing in the LC display),
press the increase button 4 to switch on the SNOOZE function. The
SNOOZE symbol appears in the LC display.

Press the increase button 4 again to switch off the SNOOZE function.
The SNOOZE symbol disappears from the LC display.

Switching the alarm off

Press the alarm button 6 to enter the alarm mode. Alternatively you
can press the mode button 7 2 x to enter the alarm mode.

Press the settings button 5 5 x. - : -- appears in the LC display.

˽

Press the mode button 7 3 x to switch off the alarm. The alarm
symbol disappears from the LC display.

Setting a birthday

Note:

Press the decrease button 3 or the increase button 4 to make

adjustments in the various modes.

Press the mode button 7 three times to get to the birthday reminder
mode.

˽

Press the set-up button 5 in order to be able to set the hours.

˽

Press the set-up button 5 in order to be able to set the minutes.

˽

Press the set-up button 5 in order to be able to set the year.

˽

Press the set-up button 5 in order to be able to set the month of the
birthday.

˽

Press the set-up button 5 in order to be able to set the date of the birthday.

˽

Press the mode button 7 twice to return to the normal mode.

Note:

On the time and day set for the birthday, a birthday song will

sound for 5 minutes.

Setting/starting the countdown

Note:

Press the decrease button 3 or the increase button 4 to make

adjustments in the various modes.

Press the mode button 7 four times to get to countdown mode.

Press the set-up button 5 in order to be able to set the hours.

˽

Press the set-up button 5 in order to be able to set the minutes.

˽

Press the set-up button 5 in order to start the countdown.

˽

Press the mode button 7 once to return to the normal mode.

Note:

When the set time has expired, an alarm will sound for 1 minute.

Setting °C/°F

Press the set-up button 5 to set °C or °F.

Switching the sound on/off

Press the decrease button 3 to switch the sound on or off.

Note:

When you have switched the sound on, all 9 alarm sequences will

play in turn.

Cleaning and Care

Do not under any circumstances use corrosive or abrasive cleaning
agents. Otherwise the surface of the product can be damaged.

Use a dry, non-flutting cloth to clean the product.

Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which

you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to
dispose of your worn-out product.

To help protect the environment, please dispose of the product
properly when it has reached the end of its useful life and not in
the household waste. Information on collection points and their
opening hours can be obtained from your local authority.

Faulty or used batteries must be recycled in accordance with Directive
2006 / 66 / EC. Please return the batteries and / or the device to the
available collection points.

Environmental damage through incorrect

disposal of the batteries!

Batteries may not be disposed of with the usual domestic waste. They may
contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to hazardous waste treatment
rules and regulations. The chemical symbols for heavy metals are as fol-
lows: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. That is why you should
dispose of used batteries at a local collection point.
