Maintenance
Servicing is necessary if the cool bag has been damaged or if liquids or objects have
penetrated the housing, if the cool bag has been exposed to rain or moisture or if it does not
work correctly or has been dropped. If smoke is produced, or there are any unusual sounds or
smells, disconnect the cool bag from the power supply immediately. In these cases, the cool
bag should not be used until it has been inspected by authorised service personnel. Only have
qualified personnel carry out the maintenance work on the device. Never open the housing of
the cool bag.
Replacing the fuse
To change the fuse of the cigarette lighter plug, proceed as follows:
 Turn the ring [F] anti-clockwise from the cigarette lighter plug housing [A].
 Replace the fuse [D] with a new fuse of the same type.
 Insert the spring [C], fuse [D] and tip [E] in this sequence into the cigarette lighter plug housing
[A].
 Now place the ring [F] over the tip [E] and turn the ring [F] clockwise on the cigarette lighter
plug housing [A]. When doing so, ensure that the ring [B] is inserted into the cigarette lighter
plug housing [A].
Cleaning
Disconnect the cool bag from the power supply before cleaning in order to prevent hazards.
Ensure that no liquid enters the housing in order to prevent hazards.
Use a damp cloth to clean the cool bag and never use any solvent or cleaner that would corrode
the plastic materials.
We recommend that you clean the inside of the cool bag with washing-up liquid, then rinse it with
clear water and dry it after every use.
