■ Defective components may only be replaced with original replace-
ment parts. Only by using original replacement parts can it be
guaranteed that the safety requirements are being complied with.
■ Avoid direct solar radiation.
■ Do not operate the appliance adjacent to open fl ames.
■ Check the appliance and its supply lines at regular intervals for
watertightness and fault-free functioning.

For the safe handling of batteries observe the following safety
instructions:
► Do not throw batteries into a fi re.
► Never short-circuit batteries.
► Do not attempt to recharge batteries.
► Regularly check the condition of the batteries. Leaking battery
acid can cause permanent damage to the appliance.
Special caution should be applied when handling damaged
or leaking batteries. Risks of acid burns!
Wear protective gloves.
► Store batteries in a place inaccessible to children. If one should
be swallowed, seek medical attention IMMEDIATELY.
► Remove the batteries from the appliance if you are not
planning to use it for an extended period.
