Inserting / replacing batteries
(see diagram)
j  Remove the battery cartridge 4 out of the product
by turning the base / battery compartment cap 6
anti-clockwise and pulling the battery cartridge 4 out.
j  Insert three 1.5 V / AA batteries.
Note: Ensure correct polarity. This is indicated on
the battery cartridge

j  Insert the battery cartridge 4 back into the product
and turn the base / battery compartment cap 6
clockwise onto the product.

Switching on / off, choosing
the flash function
j  Press the ON / OFF button 5 to switch the LED
lamp 1 on.
j  Press the ON / OFF button 5 again. The
SOS-flashing function will now start.
