Frequency

If you only want to scan a transponder for new
channels, enter the transponder frequency here.
Press the numeric buttons (32) to edit the values
directly or press the – (29) or + (41) buttons to
edit them step by step.

Polarisation

Satellites broadcast signals with vertical and
horizontal polarity. If you only want to scan a
transponder for new channels, press the – (29)
or + (41) buttons to select the "horizontal" or
"vertical" plane. Press the OK button (40) to
select them from a list..

The polarisation "left" or "right" is rarely used.

Symbol rate

The most common symbol rates of satellite
transponders use the 27,500MSym/s or
22,000MSym/s values. If you only want to scan
a transponder for new channels, press the
numeric buttons (32) to edit the values directly or
press the – (29) or + (41) buttons to edit them
step by step.

Note: The common notation such as 12480H
means: Frequency 12,480 GHz and horizontal
(H) polarisation.

Scan mode
Select the transponders that you want to scan.
Press the – (29) or + (41) button to make your
selection. Press the OK button (40) to select
them from a list..

All Transponders
To perform an automatic search for all
transponders of a satellite.

Single Transponder

Performs a search using the entered
transponder data.

Channel List

To scan the already-saved transponders.

Scrambled channels

Here you can choose whether to look for
unscrambled channels only or scrambled
channels also. Select "Off" if you don't want to
watch any scrambled channels.

To start scanning, select the [Continue with OK]
option and press the OK button (40). Or press
EXIT (39) to return to the previous window.

Wait for the channel search to finish. To skip a
transponder that you don't want to scan, press
the OK button (40).
