CY Intended use

The appliance is designed for inflating and deflating inflatable mattresses, rubber dinghies, swimming pools and other

inflatable high-volume articles for domestic use.

Do not use it to inflate bicycle or car tyres.

Every other use may damage the appliance and cause a serious risk for its users.

This equipment is not suitable for commercial use. Commercial use will invalidate the guarantee.

The manufacturer shall not be liable for damages caused by non-intended or inappropriate operation.

Es ist nicht geeignet zum Aufpumpen von Fahrrad- oder Autoreifen.

Jede andere Verwendung kann zu Schäden am Gerät führen und eine ernsthafte Gefahr für den Benutzer darstellen.

Dieses Gerät ist nicht zur gewerblichen Nutzung geeignet. Bei gewerblichem Einsatz erlischt die Garantie.

through attentively before you use the machine.

Keep the manual in a safe place and pass it on to

any subsequent owner to ensure that the information

contained therein is available at all times.

Caution! When using power tools, observe the following basic safety measures for the prevention of electric shocks

and the risk of injury and fire.

Personal safety:

• This appliance is not intended for operation by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capa-

bilities, or lacking experience and/or knowledge, unless they are under the supervision of or have been instructed on how

to use the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

• Children must be supervised in order to ensure that they do not play with the equipment.

• Do not use the equipment when people and particularly children or pets are nearby.

• In the area of operation, the operator is liable for damages caused others as a result of operating the appliance.

• During operation, never point the appliance at yourself or others, taking particular care to avoid the eyes and ears.

Risk of injury!

• Do not leave the appliance unattended while running and take heed of the air-fill information of the inflatable artic-

le. The inflatable article may burst and cause serious injuries.

• Keep the appliance in a dry place and out of the reach of children.
Working with the appliance:

• Do not use the equipment whilst driving. A distraction can jeopardise road safety. Use the equipment only when the engi-

ne is switched off in order to prevent pollution of the environment.

• Before starting the appliance, check it for damages and only operate it if it is in perfect condition. This ensures that the

equipment remains safe.

• Do not expose the appliance to rain or humid weather and do not allow it to come into contact with water. Risk of electric

shock.

• Keep all openings of the appliance free while operating. Do not cover the openings with your hands or fingers and do not

cover the appliance. Risk of overheating.

• Prevent sand and other small foreign particles from getting into the air inlet or air outlet. This could damage the appliance.

• Do not operate the appliance near inflammable liquids or gases. Do not let it draw in hot vapours. Non-compliance

causes a risk of fire or explosion.

• Turn off the appliance and unplug it from the cigarette lighter if:

- you are not operating the appliance;

- you are leaving the appliance unattended;

- you are repairing or servicing the appliance;

- the mains lead is damaged;

- foreign particles have got in or abnormal sounds are heard.

• Only use accessories supplied and recommended by the manufacturer. Do not try to repair the appliance yourself. Like this

you avoid damage to the appliance.

Electrical safety:

• Do not operate the appliance if its On/Off switch cannot be set. Have damaged switches replaced. Risk of injury

from cuts.

• Do not use the cable to carry the appliance. Do not pull the cable to unplug from the mains. Keep the cable away

from heat, oil and sharp edges. The connection cable could become damaged.

• Attach the power cord to the vehicle’s cigarette lighter only.

• Take heed of the cigarette lighter operating instructions provided by the manufacturer of your car.

• Immediately unplug the appliance from the cigarette lighter if the cable is damaged. Risk of injury from cuts.

• The power cord of this appliance cannot be replaced. If it damaged, the appliance must be scrapped.

Operation

1. Check that the appliance is turned off (move On/Off switch to “0”).

2. Plug the power cord into the on-board mains outlet of the cigarette lighter.

The unit is not designed for continuous operation. Running it for longer than 30 minutes may cause the appliance to

overheat and take damage. If you notice that the appliance is overloaded, turn it off immediately and do not restart it

until it has cooled down.

Inflating

1. Remove the cap from the valve of the inflatable article.

2. Install the correct valve adapter (6) in the pump’s air outlet labelled INFLATE (5) (bayonet mount).

3. Plug the valve adapter (6) into the valve of the inflatable article.

4. Turn on the appliance (move On/Off switch to “I”).

5. When enough air is in the article turn off the appliance (move On/Off switch to “0”) and unplug the valve

adapter (6).

6. Restore the cap to the valve of the inflatable article.

Deflating

1. Install the correct valve adapter (6) by pushing it over

the pump’s air inlet labelled DEFLATE (1).

2. Remove the cap from the valve of the inflatable article and plug the valve adapter (6) into the valve of the

inflatable article.

3. Turn on the appliance (move On/Off switch to “I”).

4. When all the air has been removed from the inflatable article, turn off the appliance (move On/Off switch to

“0”) and unplug the valve adapter (6).

Adapters

Adapter a: Use for all standard valve with an inside diameter of 8 mm or greater.

Adapter b: Use for inflatable article with a screw-on valve. To deflate, you must unscrew the valve and use

Adapter b.

Adapter c: Use for inflatable article with air relief valve.

Cleaning

Do not spray the appliance with water and do not immerse it in water. Risk of injury due to electric shock.

Do not use cleaning agents or solvents. You may otherwise irreparably damage the appliance.

1. Keep clean the appliance’s ventilation slots, the air inlet and outlet, and the housing.

2. Use a damp cloth or a brush for cleaning.

Disposal /Enviromental protection

Be environmentally friendly. Return the tool, accessories and packaging to a recycling centre when you have finished

with them. Hand the tool in at a recycling centre. The plastics and metal parts can be separated and recycled. Ask your

Service Center about this.

Defective units returned to us will be disposed of for free.

Replacement parts can be ordered directly from our Service-Center.

Guarantee

This equipment is provided with a 3-year guarantee from the date of purchase.

If a material or manufacturing defect occurs within three years of the date of purchase of this product, we will repair or

replace – at our choice – the product for you free of charge. This guarantee requires the defective equipment and proof

of purchase to be presented within the three-year period with a brief written description of what constitutes the defect

and when it occurred.

If the defect is covered by our guarantee, you will receive either the repaired product or a new product. No new gua-

rantee period begins on repair or replacement of the product.

The guarantee applies for all material and manufacturing defects. This guarantee does not extend to cover product parts

that are subject to normal wear and may therefore be considered as wearing parts (e.g. valve adapter) or to cover

damage to breakable parts.

This guarantee shall be invalid if the product has been damaged, used incorrectly or not maintained. Precise adherence

to all of the instructions specified in the operating manual is required for proper use of the product. Intended uses and

actions against which the operating manual advises or warns must be categorically avoided.

Please have the receipt and item number ready as proof of purchase for all enquiries.
