POF Kontakt in die Crimpstelle bis
zum Anschlag einlegen und Zange bis
zur ersten Raststufe schliessen.
Das vorbereitete Kabel in den POF
Kontakt bis zum Anschlag einführen,
mit leichtem Druck Kabel und Kontakt
gegen den Anschlag drücken und
Zange ganz schliessen. Beim Loslas-
sen muss sich die Zange öffnen.Dies
gewährleistet, dass der Crimpvorgang
korrekt durchgeführt wurde. (ill. 8)

Insert the POF contact into the crimp
place up to the stop and close the
crimp pliers up to the fi rst snap-in
position.
Insert the prepared cable into the POF
contact up to the stop, gently push in
the cable and the contact and close
the pliers completely. After crimping
the pliers must open automaticaly.
This ensures that the crimp procedure
has been correctly executed.

Kontrolle: Die Leitungen müssen vor-
ne (siehe Pfeil) bündig abschliessen. (ill. 9)
Check: The cables must be fl ush (see
arrow) with the front side.

Kontakte von der Rückseite der Kon-
taktträger her von Hand einführen bis
zum Einrasten. (Die Rückseite ist die
Seite ohne „MC“ Logo). (ill. 10)
Manually insert the contacts into the
contact carriers from the back until
they engage. (The back is the side
without “MC” logos).
Achtung
Die Stecker und Buchsen haben
unterschiedliche Kontaktträger,
gekennzeichnet mit POF-S für
Stifte und POF-B für Buchsen.
Das korrekte Einrasten durch
Ziehen an der Leitung prüfen. Achtung
Plugs and sockets have different
contact carriers. POF-S for pins,
POF-B for sockets.

Das richtige Einrasten der Kontakte
muss mit dem Kontrollmass 4.2mm
(für Stifte) geprüft werden.
Die Buchsen müssen bündig mit der
Oberkante des Kontaktträgers sein. (ill. 11)
The correct engagement of the
contacts must be checked with the
dimension 4.2mm (for pins). The sock-
ets must be fl ush with the top edge of
the contact carrier.
