TIMEX INTERNATIONALE GARANTIE

Voor uw TIMEX horloge geldt een garantieperiode van EEN JAAR, vanaf de oorspronkelijke aankoopdatum,
voor productiefouten. Timex en de gelieerde ondernemingen zullen deze internationale garantie naleven.
Merk op dat Timex kan beslissen om uw horloge te repareren door nieuwe of grondig gerepareerde
en gecontroleerde onderdelen te gebruiken of om het horloge te vervangen door hetzelfde of een
gelijkaardig model. BELANGRIJK – MERK OP DAT DEZE GARANTIE NIET GELDT VOOR DEFECTEN
VAN OF SCHADE AAN UW HORLOGE:
1) Nadat de garantieperiode is verstreken;
2) Indien het horloge niet oorspronkelijk werd aangekocht bij een gemachtigd Timex verkoper;
3) Na reparaties die niet door Timex werden uitgevoerd;
4) Als gevolg van ongevallen, geknoei of misbuik; en
5) Voor de lens of het kristal, de polsband of riem, de horlogebehuizing, accessoires of de batter-
ij. Timex kan u de kosten aanrekenen voor het vervangen van al deze onderdelen.
DEZE GARANTIE EN DE ERIN BESCHREVEN VERHAALMOGELIJKHEDEN ZIJN EXCLUSIEF EN VERVANGEN
ALLE ANDERE EXPLICIETE OF IMPLICIETE GARANTIES, INCLUSIEF ALLE MOGELIJKE IMPLICIETE
GARANTIES INZAKE VERKOOPBAARHEID OF GESCHIKTHEID VOOR EEN BEPAALD DOEL. TIMEX KAN NIET
AANSPRAKELIJK WORDEN GESTELD VOOR ENIGE MOGELIJKE SPECIALE, INCIDENTELE OF GEVOL-
GSCHADE. In sommige landen of staten is het niet toegelaten impliciete garanties te beperken en zijn
uitsluitingen of beperkingen inzake schade evenmin toegelaten. Deze beperkingen gelden dus
mogelijk niet voor u. Deze garantie verleent u specifieke juridische rechten en mogelijk heeft u ook
nog andere rechten die verschillen van land tot land en van staat tot staat.
Om gebruik te maken van de garantieservice bezorgt u uw horloge terug aan Timex, een aangesloten
maatschappij of een verkoper van Timex waar u het horloge kocht, samen met de originele ingevulde
Horlogereparatiecoupon. In de V.S. en Canada voegt u hetzij de originele, ingevulde Horloge-
reparatiecoupon of een briefje met uw naam, adres, telefoonnummer en de datum en plaats van
aankoop bij uw horloge. Ter vergoeding van de portokosten (dit is geen vergoeding voor de reparatie)
vragen wij u ook het volgende bij uw horloge te voegen: in de V.S. een cheque of postwissel ter
waarde van US$ 7,00; in Canada een cheque of postwissel ter waarde van CAN$ 6,00; in het V.K. een
cheque of postwissel ter waarde van UK£ 2,50. In alle andere landen zal Timex u de porto- en ver-

Your TIMEX watch is warranted against manufacturing defects by Timex Corporation for a period of
ONE YEAR from the original purchase date. Timex and its worldwide affiliates will honor this
International Warranty.
Please note that Timex may, at its option, repair your watch by installing new or thoroughly
reconditioned and inspected components or replace it with an identical or similar model.
IMPORTANT — PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER DEFECTS OR DAMAGES
TO YOUR WATCH:
1) after the warranty period expires;
2) if the watch was not originally purchased from an authorized Timex retailer;
3) from repair services not performed by Timex;
4) from accidents, tampering or abuse; and
5) lens or crystal, strap or band, watch case, attachments or battery. Timex may charge you for
replacing any of these parts.

Il vostro orologio Calendario perpetuo tiene conto accuratamente di
quanti giorni sono in ogni mese. E’ anche in grado di tenere conto degli
anni bisestili. La data del vostro orologio (inclusi mese ed anno) è stata
prefissata in fabbrica sull’ora standard orientale statunitense, sull’ora
di Greenwich o su quella standard di Hong Kong (a seconda del luogo
in cui avete acquistato l’orologio). Avrete solo bisogno di regolare l’ora.
L’orologio in vostra dotazione potrebbe non disporre di tutte le funzioni
descritte in questo opuscolo. Conservate queste istruzioni per poterle

Per impostare l’ora, basta tirare la corona completamente in fuori e
girarla. Il giorno e la data cambiano automaticamente quando l’ora
viene regolata dopo la mezzanotte; non c’è bisogno di fare altro per
impostare il giorno o la data. Spingere in dentro la corona quando si
finisce.
Se dopo aver impostato l’orologio la data cambia a mezzogiorno
occorre regolare l’ora mandandola avanti o indietro di 12 ore.
Se la corona viene per errore messa nella posizione INTERMEDIA e poi
girata, il display della data cambierà temporaneamente, ma l’im-
postazione della data rimane intatta. Basta tirare la corona completa-
mente in fuori e impostare l’ora. Viene ripristinata la visualizzazione
della data giusta.

REGOLAZIONE DEL BRACCIALE
BRACCIALE CON FERMAGLIO REGOLABILE
Aprire la piastrina di chiusura. Spostare il fermaglio alla lunghezza
desiderata per il bracciale. Tenendo la piastrina di chiusura, esercitare
pressione su di essa e far scorrere avanti e indietro il fermaglio finché
non si innesta nelle scanalature presenti nella parte inferiore del brac-
ciale. Premere verso il basso la piastrina di chiusura finché non scatta.
Non premere eccessivamente, per evitare di danneggiare il fermaglio.

BRACCIALE CON FERMAGLIO RIPIEGABILE
Individuare la barretta a molla che collega il bracciale al fermaglio.
Servendosi di un attrezzo a punta (Fig. 1), spingere in dentro la barretta
a molla e torcere delicatamente il bracciale per staccarlo. Determinare
la misura del polso, quindi inserire la barretta a molla nel
corrispondente foro inferiore (Fig. 2). Premere la barretta a molla,
allinearla con il foro superiore, quindi rilasciarla per bloccare il brac-
ciale in posizione (Fig. 3).
RIMOZIONE DELLE MAGLIE DEL BRACCIALE
Rimozione delle maglie: Mettere in piedi il bracciale ed inserire un
attrezzo a punta nell’apertura della maglia. Spingere con forza lo spillo
in direzione della freccia finché la maglia non si stacca (gli spilli sono
difficili da rimuovere). Ripetere l’operazione finché non si è rimosso il
numero desiderato di maglie.
Rimontaggio Riunire le parti del bracciale. Spingere di nuovo lo spillo
nella maglia, in direzione opposta alla freccia. Premere con fermezza lo
spillo nel bracciale finché non resta a filo con esso.
BRACCIALE A MAGLIE PIENE
Rimozione delle maglie: Servendosi di un cacciavite molto piccolo,
rimuovere le viti girandole in senso antiorario. Ripetere l’operazione
finché non si è rimosso il numero desiderato di maglie. Non rimuovere
le maglie adiacenti al fermaglio.
Rimontaggio Riunire le parti del bracciale ed inserire la vite all’estrem-
ità dell’apertura dalla quale era stata rimossa. Avvitare la vite girandola
in senso orario finché non resta a filo con il bracciale.
EEUWIGE KALENDER
DE DATUM IS ALTIJD JUIST
Uw horloge met eeuwige kalender houdt nauwkeurig bij hoeveel dagen
er in elke maand zijn. Het past ook aan voor schrikkeljaren. De datum
op uw horloge (met inbegrip van de maand en het jaar) is in de fabriek
vooringesteld op Eastern Standard Time, Greenwichtijd of Hongkong-tijd
(afhankelijk van waar u uw horloge hebt gekocht). U hoeft alleen de tijd
af te stellen.
Het is mogelijk dat uw horloge niet alle functies heeft die in dit boekje
worden beschreven. Bewaar deze instructies om ze later te kunnen
raadplegen.
Voor het instellen van de tijd trekt u de kroon helemaal naar buiten en
draait u hem. De dag en datum veranderen automatisch wanneer de
tijd voorbij middernacht wordt afgesteld; er is geen extra stap voor het
instellen van de dag of datum. Druk op de kroon wanneer u klaar bent.
Als de datum na het instellen om twaalf uur ’s middags verandert,
moet de tijd 12 uur vooruit of achteruit worden bijgesteld.
Als de kroon per ongeluk in de MIDDELSTE stand wordt gezet en wordt
gedraaid, verandert het datumdisplay tijdelijk maar dit heeft geen
invloed op de instelling van de datum. Trek de kroon helemaal naar
buiten en stel de tijd in. Het juiste datumdisplay wordt hervat.

Waterbestendig tot 50 of 100 meter zoals aangegeven op de wijzer-
plaat van het horloge.
WAARSCHUWING: DRUK ONDER WATER OP GEEN ENKELE KNOP
OPDAT HET APPARAAT WATERBESTENDIG BLIJFT.
1. Het horloge is alleen waterbestendig zolang het horlogeglas, de
kroon en de behuizing intact blijven.
2. Het horloge is geen duikershorloge en mag niet voor duiken worden
gebruikt.
3. De inschroefbare instelkroon en de achterkant van de behuizing
moeten in de behuizing worden geschroefd om waterbestendigheid te
garanderen (zie Tijd instellen). (optie)
4. Spoel het horloge met zoet water af nadat het aan zout water is
blootgesteld.
ARMBAND AFSTELLEN
ARMBAND MET CLIPSLUITING
Open het borgplaatje. Breng de sluiting naar de gewenste lengte voor de
armband. Oefen druk uit terwijl u het borgplaatje vasthoudt en de sluit-
ing heen en weer schuift totdat hij in de groeven aan de onderkant van
de armband grijpt. Druk het borgplaatje naar beneden totdat het dicht
klikt. De sluiting kan beschadigd raken als te veel kracht wordt uitgeoe-
fend.

ARMBAND MET KLAPSLUITING
Zoek het veerstaafje op waarmee de armband aan de sluiting vastzit.
Druk het veerstaafje met een puntig stuk gereedschap (Fig. 1) naar bin-
nen en draai de armband voorzichtig los. Meet de pols en steek het
veerstaafje in het juiste onderste gat (Fig. 2). Druk het veerstaafje naar
beneden, breng het in lijn met het bovenste gat en laat het los zodat
het vast komt te zitten (Fig. 3).
ARMBANDSCHAKELS VERWIJDEREN
Schakels verwijderen: Zet de armband rechtop en steek een puntig
stuk gereedschap in de opening van de schakel. Duw de pen krachtig
in de richting van de pijl totdat de schakel los is (de pennen zijn met
opzet moeilijk te verwijderen). Herhaal dit tot het gewenste aantal
schakels verwijderd is.
Weer in elkaar zetten: Maak de onderdelen van de armband weer aan
elkaar vast. Duw de pen terug in de schakel in de richting tegengesteld
aan de pijl. Druk de pen stevig naar beneden in de armband totdat de
pen er niet meer uitsteekt.
ARMBAND MET DICHTE SCHAKELS
Schakels verwijderen: Verwijder de schroeven met een zeer kleine
schroevendraaier door ze tegen de klok in te draaien. Herhaal dit tot
het gewenste aantal schakels verwijderd is. Verwijder geen schakels
naast de sluiting.
Weer in elkaar zetten: Zet de onderdelen van de armband weer in el-
kaar en steek een schroef in het einde van de opening waar de schroef
verwijderd was. Draai de schroef met de klok mee totdat hij vastzit en
vlak met de armband ligt.
EWIGER KALENDER
DAS DATUM IST IMMER KORREKT
Der ewige Kalender Ihrer Uhr hat die akkurate Anzahl der Monatstage
gespeichert. Schaltjahre werden automatisch berücksichtigt. Das
Datum Ihrer Uhr (inklusive Monat und Jahr) wurde bei der Herstellung
auf Eastern Standardzeit, mittlere Greenwich-Zeit oder Hongkong
Standardzeit eingestellt (je nach Kaufort). Sie brauchen nur die Zeit
einzustellen.
Ihre Uhr besitzt eventuell nicht alle der hier aufgeführten Optionen.
Bitte bewahren Sie diese Gebrauchsanleitung für zukünftige Fragen
auf.
Zur Zeiteinstellung Krone ganz herausziehen und drehen. Bei
Einstellung nach Mitternacht werden Tag und Datum automatisch
geändert; es sind keine weiteren Schritte erforderlich. Nach Einstellung
Krone wieder hineindrücken.
Wenn sich das Datum nach 12 Uhr mittags ändert, muss die Zeit um
12 Stunden vor- oder zurückgestellt werden.
Falls die Krone aus Versehen nur bis zur MITTLEREN Position herausge-
zogen und dann gedreht wird, ändert sich die Anzeige vorübergehend,
die Datumsgrundeinstellung bleibt jedoch unberührt. Für die Zeitein-
stellung, die Krone ganz herausziehen und drehen. Das Datum wird
dann wieder korrekt angezeigt.

Verschlussplatte öffnen. Schließe auf die gewünschte Armbandlänge
einstellen. Verschlussplatte festhalten und Schließe hin und her bewe-
gen, bis sie in die Rillen an der Unterseite des Armbandes einrastet.
Verschlussplatte andrücken, bis sie einklinkt. Nicht gewaltsam
schließen. Der Verschluss könnte beschädigt werden.

ARMBAND MIT FALTSCHLIESSE
Finden Sie die Feder, die das Armband mit dem Verschluss verbindet.
Drücken Sie die Feder mit einem spitzen Gegenstand herunter
(Abb. 1), und drehen Sie das Armband leicht, bis es sich löst. Passen
Sie das Armband Ihrem Handgelenk an, und setzen Sie die Feder in
das passende Loch an der Unterseite ein (Abb. 2). Pressen Sie die
Feder herunter, lassen Sie sie in das entsprechende Loch an der
Oberseite gleiten, um das Armband zu arretieren (Abb. 3).
ENTFERNEN VON ARMBANDGLIEDERN
Glieder entfernen: Armband aufrecht stellen und mit einem spitzen
Gegenstand in die Gliedöffnung stechen. Stift in Pfeilrichtung kräftig
herausdrücken, bis Glied sich löst. (Stifte sollen sich schwer entfernen
lassen.) Wiederholen, bis die gewünschte Anzahl von Gliedern
entfernt ist.
Zusammenfügen: Armbandteile zusammensetzen. Stift in entgegenge-
setzter Pfeilrichtung wieder in das Glied setzen. Stift hineindrücken, bis
er sicher sitzt.
GLIEDERARMBAND
Glieder entfernen: Mit einem kleinen Schraubenzieher die Schrauben
gegen den Uhrzeigersinn entfernen. Wiederholen, bis die gewünschte
Anzahl von Gliedern entfernt ist. Darauf achten, dass Glieder direkt an
der Schließe nicht entfernt werden.
Zusammenfügen: Armbandteile zusammensetzen und Schraube im
Uhrzeigersinn wieder eindrehen. Festziehen, bis sie sicher sitzt.
