6.1 Introduction
The PPC-A84/A120 optional touch screen incorporates advanced
second-generation 4-wire resistive technology. They allow 72% light
transmission respectively. The resistive model has an antiglare surface.
Anyway, this produces greatly enhanced visual resolution. They also
have a newly improved scratch-resistant features. Please refer to the
chapter 1. All of the specifications of touchscreens can be found in
chapter 1.2.
6.2 Installation of Touch Screen Driver for the
PPC-A84
The touchscreen driver for Windows 95 contains a native, 32-bit driver
designed for Windows 95/98 and a 32-bit control panel program for
the PPC-A84 system.
To facilitate the installation of the touchscreen driver, you should read
the instructions in this chapter carefully before you attempt installa-
tion.
Note 1: The PPC-A84 uses the Dynapro 4-wire resistive
touchscreen eqipped with Ronics controller board
and drivers. When installing the touchscreen drivers,
you will find the drivers in RonicsTouch directory.
Note 2: The following windows illustrations are examples
only. You must follow the flow chart instructions and
pay attention to the instructions which then appear
on your screen.
Note 3: The CD-ROM drive is designated as "D" throughout
this chapter.
Note 4: <Enter> means pressing the "Enter" key on the
keyboard.
