The BayExtension mounting frame can be mounted to standard 3.5“ bays or mounting bays for Floppy/card
readers of PC cases and is attached with four fine thread screws.
Installation:
1. Open the PC case.
2. Slide the BayExtension mounting frame with pre-installed HDDs into a 3.5“ mounting bay of the case.
Refer to the installation guidelines included with the case.
3. Screw the BayExtension mounting frame to the case using the included coarse thread screws. Refer to
the installation guidelines included with the case.

The BayExtension mounting frame allows for the simultaneous installation of up to two 2.5" HDDs or SSDs:
Notes:
1. Related to their design mechanical 2.5" HDDs shall not be installed headfirst (please contact the HDD
manufacturer for details)!
2. Make sure to provide sufficient cooling, when installing two 2.5" HDDs into the BayExtension.
Installation:
1. Place one 2.5" HDD/SSD into the lower mounting bay of the BayExtension mounting frame.
2. Screw this HDD/SSD to the BayExtension mounting frame from underneath using the included fine
thread screws.
3. Place a second 2.5" HDD/SSD into the upper mounting bay of the BayExtension mounting frame.
4. Screw this HDD/SSD to the BayExtension mounting frame from both sides using the included fine thread
screws.
