Operating system requirements

Windows 2000/XP, CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drive, USB port, 150 MHz CPU speed
minimum (recommended), PC connection software (ActiveSync*)

* If not installed on your computer, install it from the disc supplied with the main unit.

Installing the software and map data to the main unit

1 Turn off the main unit by the POWER switch on the bottom of the main

unit.

2 Connect

the

supplied AC power adapter and AC power cable to the main

unit.

3 Connect the main unit to your computer with the supplied USB cable.

4 Turn on the main unit by the POWER switch on the bottom of the main

unit.

5 Insert the disc into your computer.

Transfer the software and map data to the main unit from your computer, following
the on-screen instructions.

Notes
• When installing the map data, be sure to install the software on the disc as well.
• During transfer, do not

− disconnect the USB cable or the AC power adapter.
− turn off the main unit, or reset it.
− shut down the computer, or restart it.

Installieren der Software und der Kartendaten auf dem
Hauptgerät

1 Schalten Sie das Hauptgerät mit dem Schalter POWER an der Unterseite

des Hauptgeräts aus.

2 Schließen

Sie

das mitgelieferte Netzteil und das Netzkabel an das

Hauptgerät an.

3 Schließen

Sie

das Hauptgerät über das mitgelieferte USB-Kabel an den

Computer an.

4 Schalten Sie das Hauptgerät mit dem Schalter POWER an der Unterseite

des Hauptgeräts ein.

5 Setzen Sie die Disc in den Computer ein.

Gehen Sie nach den Anweisungen auf dem Bildschirm vor und übertragen Sie die
Software und die Kartendaten vom Computer auf das Hauptgerät.

Hinweise
• Installieren Sie bei der Installation der Kartendaten unbedingt auch die Software von

der Disc.

• Während der Übertragung dürfen Sie folgende Schritte nicht ausführen:

− Lösen des USB-Kabels oder des Netzteils
− Ausschalten oder Zurücksetzen des Hauptgeräts
− Herunterfahren oder Neustarten des Computers

à l’appareil principal.

3 Raccordez l’appareil principal à votre ordinateur à l’aide du câble USB

fourni.

4 Mettez l’appareil principal sous tension à l’aide du commutateur

POWER situé sous ce dernier.

5 Insérez le disque dans votre ordinateur.

Transférez le logiciel et les données cartographiques de l’appareil principal vers
l’ordinateur en suivant les instructions affi chées à l’écran.

Remarques
• Lors de l’installation des données cartographiques, veillez également à installer le

logiciel contenu sur le disque.

• Pendant le transfert :

− ne débranchez pas le câble USB ou l’adaptateur secteur ;
− ne mettez pas l’appareil principal hors tension ou ne le réinitialisez pas ;
− n’arrêtez pas l’ordinateur ou ne le redémarrez pas.
