1 Verwendungszweck
• Die Kapillaren sind zum ein-
maligen Gebrauch vorge-
sehen.
• Die Kapillaren sind nur durch
qualifiziertes Personal anzu-
wenden.
• Die Eppendorf VacuTips die-
nen zum Halten von Eizellen,
Blastozysten etc.
• Die Eppendorf TransferTips
(ICSI) dienen zum Transfe-
rieren, Injizieren von Sper-
mien (ICSI) oder Zellen ent-
sprechender Größe (F =
flexibler,
R = rigider Schenkel).
2 Auspacken
• Kontrollieren, ob die Folien-
verpackung beschädigt oder
geöffnet ist. In diesem Fall ist
eine Sterilität nicht mehr ge-
geben. Kapillare/Verpackung
ist nicht resterilisierbar!
• Folienverpackung am oberen
Ende aufreißen und Kapilla-
ren-Safe vorsichtig ent-
nehmen.
Vorsicht:
Nicht in das Schutzrohr greifen,
da es sonst zu Verletzungen
oder Beschädigung der Kapil-
lare kommen kann!
• Schutzrohr vorsichtig vom
Kapillaren-Safe abziehen.
• Die Kapillare vorsichtig mit
Daumen und Zeigefinger am
nicht ausgezogenen hinteren
Teil aus dem Kapillaren-Safe
entnehmen.
• Kapillare in den vorgesehenen
Kapillarenhalter des Mikro-
manipulators einsetzen und
nach entsprechender Bedie-
nungsanleitung montieren.
Vorsicht:
Kapillaren niemals auf Perso-
nen richten! Durch hohen Druck
können nicht richtig montierte
Kapillaren nach dem Blasrohref-
fekt aus dem Kapillarenhalter
herausfliegen.
Beachten Sie die Sicherheits-
hinweise der verwendeten
Geräte.
Sterile VacuTips und/and TransferTips® (ICSI)
1 Use
• Capillaries should be used
only once.
• Capillaries should only be
used by qualified personnel.
• Eppendorf VacuTips are used
for holding oocytes,
blastocysts, etc.
• Eppendorf TransferTips (ICSI)
are used for transferring and
injecting sperm (ICSI) or cells
of a similar size (F = flexible,
R = rigid flange).
2 Unpacking
• Check whether the foil
wrapping is damaged or open.
This could mean that sterility
is no longer guaranteed. The
capillary/packaging cannot be
resterilized.
• Tear open the foil wrapping
from the top end and carefully
remove the capillary safe.
Caution:
Do not touch the inside of the
protective tube, as this could
damage the capillary or cause
injuries.
• Carefully remove the
protective tube from the
capillary safe.
• Holding the rear part which
has not been pulled out
between thumb and fore-
finger, carefully remove the
capillary from the capillary
safe.
• Insert the capillary into the
capillary holder of the micro-
manipulator and mount
according to the instruction
manual.
Caution:
Never point capillaries at
people! High pressure can lead
to a blow pipe effect, which may
cause incorrectly-mounted
capillaries to fly out of the
capillary holder.
Follow the safety precautions
for the connected devices!
