1.1 Mounting the holder
T1 Mount the holder in the following order from inside to
outside:
Nordlock washer (big)  Holder  Remove carton 
Nordlock washer (small)  Inbus screw  cover
Note:
The ring carton is only used for transport protection
and has to be removed while mounting.
Additional mounting options are available under accessories for
each device.
2.1 Removal of the service shaft cover:
Loosen the captive screws of the service slot cover with a
Torx Tx10 screwdriver and remove the service shaft cover
subsequently from the device.
2.2 Connecting the cables
Connect all cables. Use the grommets in any case to
mount the cable properly and to ensure the IP-protection.
Once the unit is installed, tighten the screws of the
clamping elements by hand.
ATTENTION
The full service protection is only
guaranteed, if the service shaft cover is
installed properly!
2.3 Power supply connection
The device can be supplied by a 4-pol. 24V DC (opt. 48V
DC) connection. Connect the device with a suitable power
supply.

2.4 Connection of all necessary utility lines
For the initial operation of the device a network connection is
required.
Note:
Entries can only be done by attaching an external
keyboard.

2.5 Switch on the device:
ATTENTION
To avoid the formation of condensation,
the device must be turned on, only after it
reaches room temperature.
2.6 Entering the Product Key:
For devices with a pre-installed Windows operating system,
enter the product key when prompted. The license is located
on the rear side of the device.
2.7 Attaching the service slot cover:
Install the previously removed service slot cover with the
captive screws at the device.

Any installation works on the device are
only permitted if the power supply is
switched off, and if handling the device is
safe
