Warning:

Any installation works on the device are only
permitted if the power supply is switched off, and
if handling the device is safe.

Note:

Please observe applicable security measures
when handling electronic components sensitive
to electrostatic charges.

2.1 Table mounting

Remove the protective strip from the rubber feet and fix them to
the marked locations.

2.2 Wall mounting

The unit can be mounted alternatively via VESA 75 standard at a
suitable mounting surface.

2.3.Rail mounting

Install the supplied rail mounting holder in the following
order:

screw to the device.

The unit is set at an angle from the top of the rail (1) and is
fixed by gently pushing it to the bottom (2). The unit must
engage significantly in the rail.

To release the unit from the DIN rail, proceed in reverse
order.

Note:

When installing the rail mounting holder, there is
danger of injury from sharp edges.

Note:

Be carfeful not to damage the rail mounting
holder while removing it.

3.1. Power supply connection

The power for this device can be supplied by a 24V DC
(7…36V) (3 pin plug). The corresponding connector is
included in the scope of delivery. Connect the device with
a suitable power supply unit.

Once the power supply is connected to the device, the
PWR LED is solid green.

4.1. UMTS Functionality at IRF2210

This variant (IRF2210) offers UMTS-Functionality. A
UMTS-Antenna is supplied (1) and a 3G Card Reader
(2) is available.

5.1.RJ45 network cable connection

For initial commissioning it is essential to establish a
connection between this device and a PC. Connect the
LAN port of the device with a PC.

Note:

The device with default settings operates as
DHCP client on the WAN interface. You can
use the WAN interface to configure the device
if you have a DHCP server which does not
serve IPs from the 192.168.0.0 range.

5.2. Configuration of the PC-LAN-Network adapter

Open the Properties tab of the used network adapter.

Use following IP address

Access to the device is only enabled once the following
parameters have been entered:

IP address: 192.168.0.

5.3. Access the webinterface

Start your web browser in order to open the web interface
of this device. Now enter the following IP address into the
address line of your browser:

http://192.168.0.254

5.4. Login

In the Login prompt window, the default settings must be
entered. The default settings, as delivered to the
customer, are:

User name: admin

Password: admin

Confirm your entry by using OK. Now, the device web
interface will appear.

Note:
If you are using a Proxy, it has to be deactivated
if neccessary.

Note:
