• Make sure that the mass to

be braked strikes the cush-

ioning component

cally if possible.

• Tighten or push the shock

absorber

1 into the open-

ing intended for this pur-

pose until the end position

is reached.

• Fasten the shock ab-

sorber

1 with lock nut 5

or with clamping ele-

ment

6 according to your

fitting variant.

• Note the permitted tighten-

ing torque M

:

of lock nut 5

(see table).

of clamping element 6

(see operating instructions

for the drive).

• Carry out a test run with the shock absorber 1 to make sure that the

drive does not have a hard impact on the end position.

Please note

The energy values in the table apply when the setting pin

4 is screwed in

completely, i.e. with the maximum set stroke (H

max

).

If you wish to reach the fixed defined end position with a lower drive force

(F

A

), you can reduce the stroke of the shock absorber

1

as follows:

Reducing the stroke H or the cushioning energy

• Unscrew the setting pin 4

in stages (one revolution

per step) until the defined

end position is reached with

the existing drive force (F

A

).

• Carry out a test run with the

shock absorber

1 to make

sure that the drive does not

strike hard here.
