The adapter plate DAMF-...-FKP is designed for use as a mounting interface

on moment compensator DARD-L1-...-M.

The same interfaces of the previous moment compensators FKP-.../DARD-L1-...-S are cre-
ated.
2. Mounting
Note
In order to avoid material damage and operative malfunctions:
Align the linear drive in such a way that the maximum offset between the
linear drive and external guide specified in the catalogue is maintained
(
www.festo.com/catalogue
).
Fix the slide (A) so that no lateral forces are able to reach the guide.
Observe the permissible tightening torques ( section 4).
Always use all screws 2 and the cylindrical dowel pin to secure the
adapter plate 1.
Secure the effective load as close as possible to the centre on the adapter
plate 1.
If the block (B) is mounted incorrectly, it will result in the following faulty as-
sembly and collisions:

Remove the moment
compensator DARD-L1-...-
M if necessary and mount
the block (B) correctly
(
corresponding assem-
bly instructions).
For DAMF-25 … -80-FKP:
Pay attention to the correct position of the axis of rotation (C) of the
block (B).
