This kit is intended for converting the rotary indexing table DHTG to different
partitioning.

Caution

Danger of injury due to uncontrolled movements!
Before assembly or disassembly:
• Exhaust the device and the system.

Note

To avoid functional faults and increased wear:
• Make sure that all moving parts of the conversion kit are lubricated with

grease LUB-E1 before conversion.

2. Preparing for assembly/disassembly
• Make sure that the rotary indexing table DHTG is unlocked:
This is the case when the rotating plate can be turned freely.
Otherwise pressurize connection A

!(A) with min. 4 bar (compressed air) in

order to unlock it.


3. Dismantling the rotating plate 6

• Mark position (B) of screw aH

on the rotating plate 6 and
on the clamping ring 7.

• Unscrew and remove

screw°aH.

• Screw on the clamping

ring 7 with the aid of two
cylindrical pins (C)

• Remove the bearing

chain 8.

• Pull the rotating plate 6

upwards with the aid of two
screws (D)

• Turn the rotating plate 6.

4. Assembly indexing conversion kit

• Unscrew and remove the

screws 9.

• Press the old index plate aJ

away from the rotating
plate 6 with the aid of
the screws 9.

• Place the new index plate 2

in the rotating plate 6.

• Fasten the index plate 2

with the screws 4. Maintain
the tightening torque
(

!Section 0).

• Turn the rotating plate 6.

4b. with DADM-CK-140/-220-…

• Unscrew and remove the

screws 9.

• Press the old index plate aJ

away from the rotating
plate 6 with the aid of the
screws 9.

• Make sure that the toothed

segment (E) with the springs
for the overload protection
remains in position.

Diameter of the cylindrical pins (C): 3m6.

Cylindrical pins are not included in scope of delivery.

2)

Thread sizes of screws (D): DHTG-65/-90 (M4), DHTG-140 (M6) and DHTG-220 (M8).

Screws are not included in scope of delivery.

• Place the new index plate 2

in the rotating plate 6.

• Fasten the index plate 2

with the screws 9. Maintain
the tightening torque
(

!Section 6).

• Turn the rotating plate 6.

5. Assembly rotating plate 6

• Place the rotating plate 6 in

the rotary indexing table.

• Turn the rotating plate 6

until the index plate 2
snaps into the index bolt (E).

• Place the bearing chain 8 in

the rotary indexing table.
Make sure that the wire rings
lie in the corners.

• Tighten the clamping ring 7

until the marking on the ro-
tating plate 6 is aligned
with the existing notch (F) or
your own mark on the clamp-
ing ring 7. Use here the cy-
lindrical
pins (C)

• Tighten the screw aH.

Maintain the tightening
torque (

!Section 6).

• Loosen the clamping ele-

ment (G) one turn.

• Unscrew the existing stop

screw aA.

• Unscrew the restrictor aB

and the screws aC.

• Remove the sub-base aD

carefully in order that the
small compression spring aE
and the seals are not lost.

• Unscrew and remove

screw aF.

• Remove the stop plate aG.

• Remove the old indexing se-

lector switches aI from the
left-hand cylinder bore.

• Push the new indexing selec-

tor switches 1 into the
bores.

• Make sure that the small

compression spring aE is po-
sitioned in the bore of the
sub-base aD.

• Place the sub-base aD into

position.

• Tighten the screws aC and

the restrictor aB. Maintain
the tightening torque
(

!Section 6).

• Place the sub-base aG.
• Tighten the screws aF.

Maintain the tightening
torque (

!Section 6).

• Screw in the new stop screw

3 for adjusting the damping
of the left-hand running.

• Tighten the clamping ele-

ment (G) again.
Maintain the tightening
torque (

!Section 6).

• Exhaust the rotary indexing table again.
• Lock the rotating plate by pressurizing port B !(H) with min. 4 bar.
• Check to see if the rotating plate is locked.
If the rotating plate can still be turned freely:
• Turn the rotating plate by hand into the end position until the locking bolts

snap into place.

Note

• Before commissioning the rotary indexing table DHTG observe the oper-

ating instructions (

!“Commissioning/Setting the cushioning”).
