Three different types of ”rider” are on each
side of the MAB 1000 microphone mounting
bracket:
Type 1 is for a stand adapter or elastic sus-

pension with 3/8" thread;

Type 2 grasps the microphone cable to isolate

it from solid-borne noise;

Type 3 has a metal tab with a hole in it, for

suspending the entire unit.

the bracket simply by loosening the knurled
nut or wing screw, pushing the rider to the
desired position, then retightening.

To arrange the first two kinds of rider in a

different order, it is necessary to remove the
plastic end caps of the MAB 1000 and to
unscrew the small screws at both ends. The
two type 3 riders which are used for hanging
the MAB 1000 can be set to any desired posi-
tion without tools or disassembly. Here is how:
