Cleaning the central laminar filter

4.1 Cleaning the central

laminar filter

1. Switch the appliance off and observe the instructions

under ZChapter 3.2, "Switching off and retracting the
power cable"
.

2. Empty the dust container, ZChapter 3.4, "Emptying the

dust container".

3. Remove the central laminar filter (Fig. 20/1) by taking it

up out of the dust container (Fig. 20/2).

4. Remove the filter grid (Fig. 21/1) that protects the

central laminar filter against coarse dirt. To do this, turn
the filter grid in the direction of the arrow and remove it
from below.

5. For a rough clean, hold the central laminar filter over a

dustbin. Then knock it gently against all sides.

4.2 Checking the

protective motor filter

1. Switch the appliance off and observe the instructions

under ZChapter 3.2, "Switching off and retracting the
power cable"
.

2. Remove the housing cover, ZChapter 3.4, "Emptying

the dust container", Point 1.

3. Take out the protective motor filter (Fig. 23/1).

4. Remove any sucked in particles from the filter and from

the grid located behind the filter.

5. Reinsert the protective motor filter and close the

housing cover.

NOTE:

If the central laminar filter and filter grid are extremely
dirty, then rinse them thoroughly one after the other with
a shower head (Fig. 22). Do not use any brushes for this.
Then leave the filters to dry (approx. 15 hours at room
temperature). Only use them again when they are
completely dry.
