Intended use
• The device is intended for private use only.
• This device may only be used for the pur-
pose for which it is designed and in the man-
ner specified in the instructions for use. Any
improper use can be dangerous. The manu-
facturer is not liable for damage resulting from
improper or careless use.
Functions and possible application
NOTE
The heart rate is transmitted from the chest strap
to the smartphone using the latest Bluetooth ®
technology. This means that the Beurer PM 250
is compatible with Bluetooth ® smart devices and
Bluetooth ® smart ready devices. A current list of

The chest strap included in the delivery is a
“combo chest strap”, which means that it emits
two signals. A Bluetooth ® signal and a further sig-
nal at a transmission frequency of 5.3 kHz. Due to
the additional 5.3 kHz analogue signal, your chest
strap is also compatible with most training de-
vices in the fitness studio and heart rate monitors
with analogue signal transmission (e.g. PM 62).
Electromagnetic interference
• Electromagnetic interference may occur. Strong
magnetic fields (e.g. transformers) must always
be avoided as they may give rise to deviations
in transmission. Failure to observe these notes
may give rise to faults or damage to the trans-
mitter unit.
