Common technical data:

I Mechanical construction. Technical Specifications

The lenses contain a galvanometer drive.
The galvanometer is driven directly (variable
DC voltage control) in the lens.

The required control PCB has to be integrated
in the camera if DC control types are used.
Once the lens has been screwed into the
camera, the slip clutch mechanism on the C
or CS mount connection allows radial turning
of up to 360°, for example to locate the cable
connection at the desired point.

II Setup of the image sector
(in case of varifokal type)

Open locking screw (T <–> W) and turn the
ring to adjust the zoom setting. Open locking
screw (∞ <–> N) and turn the ring to adjust

the focus setting.
Note: For a precise adjustment of cameras
installed outside it is recommended to place a
ND (Neutral Density) filter in front of the lens
while settings are done. This opens up the
iris and allows a setting which is constant at
changing light conditions due to the narrower
depth of field.
