OPMERKING
► Gebruik daarbij niet te veel kracht, om de aan-
sluiting niet te beschadigen. Dit geldt ook voor
het uittrekken. Veel adapters moeten licht omlaag
worden gedrukt (Sony Ericsson™) of er moeten
kleine toetsen worden ingedrukt (Samsung™) om
de adapter van de telefoon los te koppelen.
▯ Steek nu de oplader in de 12/24 V-aansluiting van
uw voertuig. Dit is in de regel de sigaretten-aanste-
keraansluiting in het dashboard van uw auto. Veel
voertuigen hebben een tweede aansluiting bij de
achterstoelen of in de koff erruimte. 24 Volt-accu’s
worden gebruikt in vrachtwagens of op boten.
▯ De groene LED geeft de bedrijfstoestand van de
oplader aan. De LED brandt ook wanneer er geen
mobiele telefoon is aangesloten. Al naar gelang
het voertuigtype moet misschien vooraf het contact
worden ingeschakeld. Het opladen begint onmid-
dellijk en wordt op het display van uw mobiele
telefoon aangegeven.
▯ Wanneer de mobiele telefoon een volledig opge-
laden accu aangeeft, haalt u de oplader uit de
12/24 V-aansluiting. Koppel de oplader uitslui-
tend los via de stekker en trek nooit aan het snoer.
LET OP
► Sluit het apparaat nooit aan zonder uw mobiele
telefoon op te laden! Het apparaat verbruikt ook
in inactieve toestand stroom en moet daarom na
gebruik worden losgekoppeld van het stroom-
circuit van het voertuig! Bij niet-ingeschakelde
motor wordt anders de accu ontladen.
Reiniging en onderhoud
LET OP
► Koppel het apparaat voorafgaand aan het reini-
gen en bij niet-gebruik van de 12/24 V-aansluiting
los, om het risico van een elektrische schok te
voorkomen.
▯ Reinig het apparaat zo nodig met een zachte doek.
Controleer periodiek de toestand van het apparaat.
Gebruik het apparaat niet meer wanneer u be-
schadigingen vaststelt.
Milieurichtlijnen
Deponeer het apparaat in geen
geval bij het normale huisvuil. Dit
product is onderworpen aan de
Europese richtlijn 2002/96/EC.
Voer het apparaat af via een goedgekeurd afvalver-
werkingsbedrijf of via uw gemeentereinigingsdienst.
Neem de momenteel geldende voorschriften in
acht. Neem in geval van twijfel contact op met uw
gemeente-reinigingsdienst.
Voer alle verpakkingsmaterialen op een
milieuvriendelijke manier af.
Garantie en service
U heeft op dit apparaat 3 jaar garantie vanaf de
aankoopdatum. Het apparaat is zorgvuldig gepro-
duceerd en voor levering nauwgezet gecontroleerd.
Bewaar a.u.b. de kassabon als aankoopbewijs. Mocht
u aanspraak willen maken op de garantie, neem dan
telefonisch contact op met uw serviceadres. Alleen op
die manier is een kosteloze verzending van uw product
gegarandeerd. De garantie geldt uitsluitend voor ma-
teriaal- of fabricagefouten, niet voor transportschade,
aan slijtage onderhevige delen of voor beschadigingen
aan breekbare onderdelen, bijv. schakelaars of accu’s.
Het product is uitsluitend bestemd voor privégebruik en
niet voor bedrijfsmatig gebruik.
Bij verkeerd gebruik en ondeskundige behandeling,
bij gebruik van geweld en bij reparaties die niet
door ons geautoriseerd servicefi liaal zijn uitgevoerd,
vervalt de garantie.
Uw wettelijke rechten worden door deze garantie niet
beperkt. De garantieperiode wordt niet verlengd door
de aansprakelijkheid. Dit geldt eveneens voor vervangen
en gerepareerde onderdelen. Schade en gebreken die
mogelijk reeds bij de aankoop aanwezig zijn, moeten
direct na het uitpakken worden gemeld, uiterlijk echter
twee dagen na de dag van aankoop. Na het verstrij-
ken van de garantieperiode worden alle voorkomen-
de reparaties in rekening gebracht.

Introduction
Congratulations on the purchase of your new appliance.
You have clearly decided in favour of a quality pro-
duct. These operating instructions are a part of this
product. They contain important information in regard
to safety, use and disposal. Before using the product,
familiarise yourself with all of these operating and
safety instructions. Use the product only as described
andonly for the specifi ed areas of application. In ad-
dition, pass these documents on, together with the
product, to any future owner.
Intended use
The charging device for cars is intended exclusively
for charging mobile phones and 5V devices with a
USB port. Any other use or usage beyond those men-
tioned is considered improper use and can result in
damages and injuries. Claims of any kind for damages
resulting from improper use or unauthorised modifi ca-
tions will not be considered. This product is intended
for private use only and not for commercial applications.
Safety instructions
■ Before use check the device for visible external
damage. Do not put into operation a device that
is damaged or has been dropped.
■ Damaged cables or connections should be replaced
by authorised qualifi ed specialists or by the customer
service department.
■ Protect the device from moisture and liquid pen-
etration.
■ Never subject the device to extreme heat or humidity.
This applies especially when storing in a car. With
long periods of immobilisation car interiors and
glove boxes build up extreme heat levels. Remove
electrical and electronic devices from the car.
■ This device is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with restricted physical, sensory
or mental abilities or lack of experience and / or
knowledge unless, of course, they are supervised
by a person responsible for their safety or obtain
from that person instructions on how the device is
to be used. Children should be supervised to make
sure that they do not play with the device.
■ Do not operate the appliance if you are driving
a car or other vehicle. This presents a source of
danger in road traffi c.

make sure everything is there and for possible visible
damages. If the package contents are incomplete
or are damaged as a result of defective packaging
or during transportation get in touch with the Service-

Operation
Unpack the charging device and all adapters and look
for the adapter suitable for your mobile phone. To charge
an iPhone / iPod, use the original cable with the USB
port. First check to make sure that the adapter fi ts.
NOTE
► Do not apply excessive force thus avoiding damage
to the connector. This also applies when removing
the connector. Many adapters have to be pressed
lightly downwards (Sony Ericsson™) or small but-
tons have to be pressed (Samsung™) to remove
the adapter from the phone.
▯ Now plug the charging device into the 12/24 V
power socket of your car. As a rule this is the ciga-
rette lighter socket in the dashboard of your car.
Numerous vehicles have a second socket in the
rear seat area or in the boot. 24 Volt batteries are
used, primarily, in trucks or on boats.
▯ The green LED signalises the operating mode display
of the charging device, it also lights up if no mobile
phone is connected. Depending on the vehicle type
it is possible that the ignition has to be switched on
fi rst. The charging process begins immediately and is
shown in your mobile phone’s display.
▯ When your mobile phone shows a fully charged
battery remove the charging device from the
12/24 V connection. Remove the charging device
only by grasping the plug never pull it out by the
power cord.
IMPORTANT
► Never connect the device without charging your
mobile phone! The device also consumes power
in standby mode and therefore must be discon-
nected from the on-board power supply after
use! If the motor is not running the battery will
otherwise be discharged.
Cleaning and Care
IMPORTANT
► Disconnect the device before cleaning and when
not in use from the 12/24 V connection to avoid
the risk of an electric shock.
▯ When necessary clean the device with a soft cloth.
Check the condition of the device at regular intervals.
Do not continue to use the device if you notice
damages.
Disposal
Do not dispose of the device in your
normal domestic waste. This product
is subject to the provisions of Euro-
pean Directive 2002/96/EC.
Dispose of the device via an approved disposal facil-
ity or via your community disposal centre. Observe
the currently applicable regulations. In case of doubt,
please contact your waste disposal centre.
Dispose of all packaging materials in an
environmentally friendly manner.
Warranty and Service
With this device you receive a 3 year warranty from
the date of purchase. The device was meticulously
manufactured and thoroughly tested before delivery.
Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the
case of a warranty claim, please get in touch, by te-
lephone, with your service department. Only in this
way can a post-free dispatch for your goods be assured.
The warranty applies only to material or manufacturing
defects and not for transport damage, wear and tear
or for damages to breakable parts such as switches
or rechargeable batteries. This product is intended for
private use only and not for commercial applications.
If this product has been subjected to improper or in-
appropriate handling, abuse, or modifi cations not
carried out by one of our authorised sales and service
outlets, the warranty becomes void.
Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by
this warranty. The warranty period will not be extended
as a result of warranty adjustments. This applies also
to replacement and repaired parts. Possible damage
and / or faults present at the time of purchase must be
reported immediately after unpacking or, at the very
latest, within two days after the purchase date. After
expiry of the warranty period incidental repairs are
subject to payment.
