This safety advice is an important part of these operat-

help you to avoid risk to life, accidents and damage to
property. Therefore you must read carefully through the
following information concerning safety and proper use.

Never leave children

unsupervised with the packaging materials or
the device. There is a risk of suffocation and
loss of life from electric shock. Children often un-
derestimate the dangers associated with electri-
cal devices. Always keep children away from
the device.

This device is not intended to be used by persons
(including children) with restricted physical, senso-
ry or mental abilities or with insufficient experience
and / or knowledge, unless they are supervised by
a person who is responsible for their safety or
have received instruction on how to use the device
from such a responsible person. Children must
never be allowed to play with the device.

Keep the device away from rain or moisture.
Water entering an electrical device increases
the risk of electric shock.

Do not use the lead for any purpose for which
it was not intended, e.g. to carry the device or
to pull the plug out of the 12 V socket. Keep
the lead away from heat, oil, sharp edges or
moving parts of the device. Damaged or tangled
leads or plugs increase the risk of electric shock.

Damage to the device, mains lead or plug pre-
sents a risk of loss of life from electric shock.
Frequently check the condition of the device,
mains lead and plug.

Do not use a device with damaged parts. If a
dangerous situation arises pull out the plug
from the socket immediately.

Never open up the device.

Always have any repairs carried out or

replacement parts fitted at the service centre or
by an electrical equipment repair specialist.

When not in use always ensure that electrical
devices are kept out of reach of children. Do
not let anyone use the device if he or she is not
familiar with it or has not read the instructions
