Activating the test mode on the handset
The handset is now in the idle state.
The display indicates the user (here: DeTeWe)
and the handset’s internal call number (here: 1)
Both the user name and the internal call number
can be changed.
To activate the test mode, press
C
briefly.
In Site Survey Mode the display also indicates the following, in addi-
tion to the user and the internal call number (see above):

RFPI : worldwide unique code of the base station with which the
handset is currently connected.
- FE PP/FP : Errors occurred on the handset (PP) or
the base station (FP)
- -dBm : Current field strength of the receive signal (RSSI)
- RPN : Indication of up to four base stations of a system with suffi-
cient field strength
During project planning only one base station is displayed.
