Using the optional Kirk test handset

The Kirk test handset is used to determine existing/other DECT systems that could influence the
existing DECT system or any new DECT system to be planned, as the total number of DECT channels
is 120.

The handset is activated by pressing the “handset” key. It is switched off with a long-click of the
Enter key [✔].

To activate the diagnostic mode press the menu key [

MENU

] and confirm the first menu item “Best

Bases” with Enter [✔].

Pressing the Enter key [✔] a second time displays the diagnostics functions:

-

RFPI of the strongest system

-

Current base / total number of bases

-

Field strength of the current base

-

Switching between the existing RFPI

To end the diagnostic mode, press the menu key [

MENU

].
