PLAYBACK

During video playback, you have the option of restricting the type of video output and the
type of video to change. Press the V.MODE button. Each pressing V.MODE button changes
the video output. The respective current mode is just above the left appears. The video
mode changes in the following sequence:

RGB —> CVBS —> YUV —> PSCAN —> RGB


If your DVD player with a SCART on the TV connected, it changes the picture only slightly. If
you are YUV (576i) or PSCAN (576p) output would like to use, then you should also connect
an 3-wire-component to the TV set.


Important Note when using an 3-wire-component video output with progressive scan
(PSCAN or YPbPr):
Use a component video connection with PSCAN (576p) to your TV and then press the
V.MODE button, then the image disappears from the television. Press again the V.MODE
button and always wait for a few seconds until the next mode is ready. After pressing three
times the V.MODE button a picture should be on the TV again.


Important Note when using an 3-wire-component video output (YUV or YCbCr):
Your TV does not support progressive scan (PSCAN / 576p)!
Use an 3-wire-component video connection with YUV (576i) on the TV and then press the
V.MODE button, then the image disappears from the TV (if the TV PSCAN/576p the mode is
not supported). Press the V.MODE button and wait a few seconds to the next mode. After
three times pressing the button should be a picture on the TV again.


Note:
If you have no picture on the TV, check always the current video input on the TV. Please
connect the DVD player and the TV with a pure video connection (CVBS) with the yellow
cable. About CVBS, you should always use a picture on the TV receive. Turn the TV on the
corresponding input (AV or video). Now you can use the Einstallungsmenü again the
desired connection.

Press the PAL/NTSC button during playback of a video disc and the player switches from
PAL to NTSC. Pressing again the button and player switches back from NTSC to PAL video
system.
