12.4 Networking
Via the preset function DHCP
(dynamic host configuration protocol)
the automatic integration of your
Receiver into your existing Home-
Network should work easily. With the
GREEN key “Network Test” you can
check the connection. With the
YELLOW key “Network Restart” you
can reset the connection.
Should this automatic function for some reason not work within your network, you
can set up the network connection manually. Switch the function DHCP to “OFF”.
Now you can manually enter values for IP Adress, Subnetmask, Gateway, 1.
DNS and 2. DNS. We advise that only experienced Network Users attempt this.
After you have made your required changes, save these by pressing the RED
key.
12.5 Network Drive
Provided you have connected your
Receiver to your Home-Network (see
chapter 5 – Connection of the
Receiver) via this function you can
access Network Drives that are also
connected within your Home-Network
(up to 10) from your Receiver to, for
example play Media that are stored
there.

While many files formats are supported, it can not be guaranteed that all
files are playable.
