Changes in the operating manual

This supplementary sheet is a supplement to the operating manual for the BioSpectrometer basic and not a

substitute. Therefore, also read the operating manual of the BioSpectrometer before using the

BioSpectrometer for the first time. The current version of the operating manual is available on the internet at

www.eppendorf.com

1.2.1 Hazard icons

2.1 Main illustration

The location of the name plate deviates from the main illustration. It is located on the bottom of the device on

the rear left.

2.3.5 Device self-check

The factory setting for the self-test interval has been adjusted to "weekly".
During the self-test, ensure that the following requirements are met:

Observe the ambient conditions (chapter 11.2).

Avoid temperature fluctuations (for example, caused by open windows).

After the device has been transported from a cool to a warmer environment, condensation can form

inside the device. Wait at least three hours before connecting the device to the power supply.

Make sure that the cuvette shaft is clean.

4.4/4.5 Connecting a printer/PC



Only connect devices that meet the safety requirements defined in IEC 60950-1.

If you want to select sample results for export or printout, press the [Sample] softkey.
