1. Choose an appropriate sized mounting plate.

Even if your tripod mount ring only has one tap

hole, choose a mounting plate that is long enough

to perfectly balance your camera.

2. Before attaching the mounting plate, it may be

necessary to adjust the middle locking pin (j) to the

conditions of your tripod mount ring. If necessary,

unscrew the locking pin with a 2 mm hex-wrench.

3. Screw the mounting plate to the tripod mount

ring of your lens. Watch for the locking pin at the

end of the mounting plate: it should face to the rear

of the camera (e.g. towards the photographer).

4. Bring the inner U-bar (g) to it’s lowest position

and tighten the friction and locking knobs (d+c),

then make sure that your tripod is in a stable posi-

tion.

5. Fastening the lens to the mounting clamp may

be done from above or from behind. First loosen

the mounting clamp locking knob (e) far enough to

accept the mounting plate (the screw is self-locking

to protect against loss).

6. Place the lens into the mounting clamp and tight-

en the locking knob, making sure to keep a hold on

the lens until it is firmly attached.
