3. Installation and set up
The
Balance Preamplifier is the heart of your Audio Equipment, it leaves you free for
any choice of switching between your different connected components as well you
can use the Remote Control for setting the Volume.
Please always try to place your
Balance Preamplifier with the shortest distance to
the components, which are going to be connected to it, in order to keep the signal
cable as short as possible. Avoid any placements of the
Balance Preamplifier near to
any transformers or amplifiers or strong electromagnetic fields.
First connect your various components with the
Balance Preamplifier .
Now connect first the External Power supply ( 14 ) with the Balance
Preamplifier , before you connect the unit to your Power outlet.
The Balance Preamplifier gives you the choice of four independent input connections.
Three inputs are unbalance ( RCA connectors ) and one input is balanced ( XLR
connectors ). We advise to use the Balanced input for connections with longer signal
cables in general.
The Balance Preamplifier provides even a Line – Out ( 9 )
connection, where you have the choice to connect
equipment for Recording from your connected sources.
To select the source, you just have to put the selector
switch into the position of the needed source ( 6 ).
