To connect your amplifier to the Balance Preamplifier
you have as well the choice between Balanced and
unbalanced outputs. In general we advise to use the
Balanced connection with your Amplifier(s).
Another Feature is the inverted output, to use the
Balance Preamplifier with two Mono Amplifiers
( Bridged-Mode / 180 degree Phase shift ).
After all connections had been done, you finally can plug in the Power supply into the
outlet. A LED will glow on the front, showing the Stand – by modus. The unit is
equipped with a automatic signal detector, which means, that when a music signal
arrives, the
Balance Preamplifier will switch automatically into operation.
If there is no signal, the Balance Preamplifier shuts automatically into standby.
To use the Remote control, you have to switch on the Remote while pressing the ON
button. ( The Remote Control will not work if not switched on !!! )
After switching the Remote on, the warm up signal will flash several times and will
glow constantly within a moment, to indicate that the Remote is ready for use.
To shut off the complete unit, you have to disconnect the Power supply of the
Balance Preamplifier from your outlets.
For better sonic results, we highly advise to keep the unit always plugged in.
Please disconnect your unit from the outlet, if it’s not going to be used for a longer
period.
4. Service and special informations:
In case of any necessary service for all clearaudio products should be done by
authorized personal only.
In case of any repair, the clearaudio Balance Preamplifier needs to be sent to your
nearest authorized dealer or directly to the clearaudio factory.
Send / ship the
Balance Preamplifier always and only in the original packing!!! Only
in the original packing clearaudio can provide the warranty.
To achieve the full clearaudio warranty, it is necessary that you fill out and send
the corresponding part of the warranty registration card back to clearaudio, within
two weeks after purchase. Only if the product is returned in its original packing
clearaudio can provide the warranty.
