PROFIBUS-Schnittstelle
Potentialfreie RS 485-Schnittstelle gemäß EN 50 170.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass an beiden Enden des Kabels
Abschlußwiderstände vorhanden sind. Wenn Sie
spezielle PROFIBUS Stecker verwenden, sind diese
Widerstände oft innerhalb des Steckers und müssen
nur zugeschaltet werden. Für Baudraten über
1.5 MBaud verwenden Sie nur PROFIBUS Stecker, die
zusätzliche Induktivitäten enthalten.
Ebenso ist es nicht zulässig, Stichleitungen bei diesen
hohen Baudraten zu verwenden. Bitte verwenden Sie
nur ein Kabel, welches für PROFIBUS-DP zugelassen
ist. Machen Sie außerdem eine großflächige Verbin-
dung zwischen dem Kabelschirm und dem Erdpotential
bei jedem Gerät und stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie keine
Potentialunterschiede zwischen diesen Punkten haben.
Wenn Sie nur das CIF mit einem weiteren Teilnehmer
verbinden, müssen beide Geräte an den Enden des
Kabels angeschlossen sein, damit die Abschlußwider-
stände mit Spannung versorgt werden. Ansonsten kann
der Master an jeder beliebigen Stelle angeschlossen
werden.

PROFIBUS Interface
Isolated RS 485 interface according to EN 50170.
Please ensure that termination resistors are available at
both ends of the cable. If special PROFIBUS connec-
tors are being used, these resistors are often found
inside the connector and must be switched on.
For baud rates above 1.5 MBaud use only special
connectors, which also include additional inductance.
It is also not allowed to have T stubs to the devices for
these high baud rates. Use only a special cable which is
approved for PROFIBUS-DP. Make a large and strong
connection from the cable shield to ground at every
device and make sure that there is no potential differen-
ce between the grounds at the different points.
If the CIF is linked with only one other device on the
bus, they must be at the ends of the bus line. The rea-
son is that these devices must deliver the power supply
for the termination resistors. Otherwise the Master can
be connected at any desired position.
