Settings in „FRONIUS IG.access“
General The data transmission from the Datalogger to the portal requires a daily download from
the Datalogger. This data is sent to the portal as an e-mail. The transmission is carried
out via „FRONIUS IG.access“ or a message modem.

1. Start „FRONIUS IG.access“
2. Open the „Monitoring“ tab in the
„Settings“ - „General“ menu
Important! The best time for the data
transmission is during the night. The next
morning the data will then be fully available.
3. Activate Automatic download for the
data transmission
4. Set the time and if required enter the
modem password
5. Click on the „Internet Portal“ check-
box
Configure the e-mail transmission as follows:
1.
Select LAN or Dial-up
2. Enter outgoing mail server (SMTP)
3. Enter sender address
4. Enter portal recipient address: „[email protected]“
IMPORTANT! For more detailed information about sending the e-mail, please see the
FRONIUS IG DatCom Detail operating instructions.
5. Click on the „Apply“ button
6. Click on the „Test e-mail“ button
„FRONIUS IG.access“ will then send a test e-mail to the portal to test the data
transmission. The portal will reply to the test e-mail with a confirmation to the pre-
viously entered sender address.
„FRONIUS IG.access“ is now ready to send data as per the following procedure to the
portal:

At the set time for the data transmission (download), „FRONIUS IG.access“ down-
loads the data from the Datalogger for the last three days.
NOTE! The download requires the following:
- The PC with „FRONIUS IG.access“ is on and „FRONIUS IG.access“ is
running
- A direct connection to the Datalogger is possible via RS232 or USB
Or dial-up option via modem
2. „FRONIUS IG.access“ saves the data in an e-mail and sends it to the server
3. The server saves the data and displays it via the portal
