Troubleshooting
The following table will help with localising and remedying minor malfunctions:

not switch on
The battery is drained.
Charge the device (see Chapter

No sound The volume is set to minimum. Increase the volume.
The pillion pas-
senger cannot
hear anytthing
The spiral cable 20 is not
connected correctly.
Check the connection of the spiral
cable

Volume set to minimum on
the pillion unit.
Increase the volume.
The button 8 has not
been pressed.
Press the button 8 .
The Bluetooth
connection does
not function
The mobile phone does not
support Bluetooth transmis-
sions.
The mobile phone is not suitable for use
with this device.
The mobile phone is not
paired with the device.
Reconnect the mobile phone and the
device. Please refer to the operating
instructions of your mobile phone.
Bluetooth transmission is not
activated on your mobile
phone.
Switch on Bluetooth transmission on
your mobile phone. Please refer to the
operating instructions of your mobile
phone.
