6.2.2 Changing the fan

Note!
The fan is hot-swappable which means that it can be changed during
operation.

How to change the fan:
1. Open the housing ( 58).
If you change the fan during operation, observe the following:
– Do not touch any current-carrying parts.
– Do not touch any rotating fan blades (risk of injury!).
– Make sure that no small parts fall into the device which would cause a short
circuit.
– Carry out the works immediately and without any interruptions.
2. Unscrew the screw  and remove the fan housing cover .
3. Pull the fan  out upwards and replace it by a new one. When inserting the new fan,
make sure that the spring contacts of the fan connection are bottom right (pos. ).
4. Place the fan housing cover  on the housing again and tighten the screw .
5. Close the housing ( 58).
