•Installation
Caution: In order to meet product safety requirements, these units
must only be installed, by qualified staff, in accordance with the
information given in this manual, using the terminal blocks supplied,
and all relevant national electrical wiring and safety rules must be
followed.

Locate the instrument in an area that is free from dust, moisture and
corrosive gases.
powerSupplyRequirements
Check the power supply against the model number before applying
power to the instrument. The unit must be used with a suitable mains
power Supply, ratings are as follows:

*Using a DC power supply that provides this voltage will comply with
the instrument’s UL/CSA listing.
Earth connections attach to a stud on the underside of the case. You
must attach this connection before applying power to the unit.
Connections
For effective protection from electromagnetic noise, all signal cables
must be shielded, or located on conductive trays or in conduits.
Twisted pair cable should be for the input and output signals.
Use 1-8 AWG Cu Wire rated for temperatures above 70 °C only,
tighten to 4. lb-In. Strip wires to 7 mm from the ends. Use a suitable
ferrule for multistranded wires (do not solder).
