Insecure outputs. Operations on the WaveLine Medienconverter only realise by
qualified employees. Use a power supply unit according to DIN EN 60742 (VDE
0551). Secure all electrical outputs.
The power supply needs to provide the inrush current for the units. There only can
be used on method to power the unit at the same time: Either the cross-connec-
tion at the bottom part of the unit Or the screw terminals at the top of the unit. The
cross-connection only should be populated if the units are powered via these
cross-connections. All power input methods are protected against accidential mis-
polarisation. The functional earth (FE) is connected to the shield of the RJ45 con-
nectors and is recommendd to be connected to the potential equalization.
